Nonprofit Overview

Mission: On April 22nd, 2016, my girlfriend and I found out she was 2 weeks pregnant, but shortly after we were given the news, we found out that there was risk of complications with her pregnancy. 4 days later, upon having terrible abdominal pains, she had to be rushed to the ER, where upon another ultrasound we found out it was an Ectopic Pregnancy--meaning she had to have surgery--and that our child, which would have been named Karamela Hope Nathe--was lost. This fundraiser/campaign--the "Hope Lost" Fund--is dedicated to the memory of our Daughter, in hopes of raising awareness of not only Ectopic Pregnancies, but to raise awareness of just how fragile ANY life can be, especially those that aren't yet born. Although the pain and heartache both of Us have suffered and will always be reminded of every day for the rest of our lives, Our Daughter's memory has driven us to make things better, even just a little bit, for not just those who have also gone through the pains and heartache we're still going through--but for all who are affected by the loss of a Child, or Loved One prematurely or otherwise. The HOPE LOST Fund is completely Non-Profit, and all funds will go towards raising awareness of Ectopic Pregnancies, as well as other types of Premature births, and pregnancy complications that risk both the mother and child.
