Tina, Allie, Susan, Hot Team and all who care, Thanks for being there. I lived in Nottingham Country when it was first built and wasn't even complete and was there for 35 years and let me tell you there were more miscreants living there than all the homeless combined. I know personally. You all (Tina and the group) are great people with a beautiful vision and hearts and intelligence to make things positive happen. The uninformed illiterates who post ignorant negative commentary about the organization are the REAL stress in their children's lives because they are horrible examples of the true spirit of a civilized society... kindness, compassion, warmth and understanding to one's fellow man.
Working with Hope Impacts over the last four years has been one of the best things I’ve done in my life. Working to help the homeless to get back on their feet and become a productive member of our community is an amazing feeling. We have a Shower and Supper program on Tuesday and Thursday night at CrossRoad Church where the clients can get a hot meal a shower and have a safe place where they can visit and get out of the weather.
Come out and join us, it will change your life and the best thing about it is you will change so many other peoples lives for the better. This program is so crazy good that when the clients get a place to live and a job many of them come back to volunteer.
Not only is Hope Impacts reaching out to the needy in our community with suppers and showers on a regular basis, they are also helping to house the homeless and providing a resource for churches and other local like minded organizations to get involved and to do mission work in a consistent and effective way.
I have worked with Tina on many occasions and she is very methodical in all that she does for this organization putting her patrons first . It is one of the most well ran non profits I have ever worked with and donated too.
I am super impressed with Hope Impacts and the difference they make in the community. They go above and beyond what other similar organizations do which truly matters! Did you know a person cannot apply for Social Security or Disability without an address? Hope Impacts bridges this gap for people which further assists them with becoming stable and securing housing. Going beyond housing, they also assist clients with furniture and other household items. I am super grateful to Tina, Allie, and everyone that supports this amazing nonprofit. You all have hearts of GOLD!
Hello, my name is Tad Gibson. I was recently homeless and and me and my service dog were sleeping in my car. I was referred to Hope Impacts. Hope Impacts not only helped me but made me part of the family! I have never meet a group of people that are so dedicated to helping as much as Hope Impacts. Without the dedication of this new family and the resources they provided me I would not be back on my feet today. I love every single one of them! Thank you again, Tina, Allie, Susan, and David.
My name is Chad Patel. I volunteer for Hope Inpacts who provides services for Homeless people. Some of the services I have volunteered for include clothing distribution, hygiene items, bathroom and kitchen usages, etc.
Tina Hacker who operates this organization is doing a wonderful job of managing the facility and also the homeless people who seek help at Hope Impacts. Her heart and soul is fully in to it Hope impacts is an important organization that deserves all the support it can get in helping homeless people.
This nonprofit is located directly across the street from 4000+ school children. Hope Impact brings homeless people into a residential community located across schools, daycares, and churches. There is no vetting in place for drugs/alcohol/criminal warrants, and the clients are NOT given anywhere to sleep. The homeless come and go at the same time as school children are arriving and leaving from school. This is a TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE location for this type of nonprofit.
Hope Impacts serves the homeless in Katy, Texas, with dignity and compassion and provides real assistance and long-term solutions for the unhoused. I can't say enough good things about the work this group does in the Katy community.
I want to express my gratitude for the invaluable support that Hope Impacts has provided to the Employ to Empower (E2E) Program, run by the Harris County Sheriff's Office and Career and Recovery. Since our expansion to the Katy area in February 2023, your assistance in recruiting unhoused individuals has made a significant difference.
Thanks to Hope Impacts, these individuals have been given daily opportunities to work and earn an income, demonstrating the positive impact of our collaboration. I look forward to strengthening our partnership and continuing to change lives together.
Thank you once again for your commitment to our community.
Best regards,
Deputy J. Colunga
E2E Deputy
Hope Impacts was there for me when I had no hope. They provided more than the basic essentials that someone who is experiencing homelessness needs. More than that though, they provided love, understanding, and compassion for me. They go above and beyond for people in a crisis. Most of all, they were a vessel in helping me find a higher power, who I choose to call God today. Hope truly does impact. To the concerned neighbor post, before you decide to randomly bash something do more research. They very much helped me with my mental state and got me back on the path to sanity. Second, there aren’t many organizations in Katy for help with homelessness so I don’t know where you think they should go. Third, not everyone who is homeless has mental problems. Judgement of others is never pretty. I assume that you think, “Do they know who I think I am!” Well I know that you are no better or worse than anyone else. I apologize to anyone reading this but I’m going to defend an organization that’s saving people’s lives versus someone that only cares about themselves and their “property value”. The only thing dangerous are your words misguiding others about your belief in homelessness based on what you think you know about them. Dangerous individuals are in every “class” of society. If one individual acts out of line doesn’t mean all of them are. If a kid in a neighborhood is bully, it doesn’t mean all kids are bullies. Most people using the services of Hope Impacts are smart enough to realize not to “poop” where they sleep if they are misbehaving. Sometime it helps to analyze and think before we speak. Don’t be a Karen. Have a blessed day everyone.
My name is Linda, I am a volunteer/fund raiser for Tina and her team. I love this organization, I have witnessed first hand the love and compassion that Tina and her team members give to each person that comes through their door. They help veterans apply for their benefits and follow through with organizations to make sure they receive them. They clothe and feed their clients. When clients have doctors appointments etc. Tina and her Team get them there. This is a phenomenal organization with a BIG HEART!
Hope Impacts is an outstanding organization dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness. Their compassionate and holistic approach goes beyond providing basic necessities; they truly invest in building relationships and offering comprehensive support. The staff and volunteers are incredibly kind, empathetic, and committed to helping individuals regain their dignity and independence. Their programs and services are thoughtfully designed to address both immediate needs and long-term goals. I am deeply impressed by the impact they are making in the community and highly recommend supporting their mission.
While the services may be worthwhile, this organization chooses to operate in a location sandwiched between a residential neighborhood, a church, a high school and an elementary school, drawing homeless to an area that has no shelters or other means of services. Taking no care of the mental state of their clients, there are increased cases of dangerous individuals trespassing and threatening youth at both the church and schools.
Goes above and beyond to help the community! They help the less fortunate find housing, employment and educational tools to assist in rebuilding their lives.
Hope Impacts is an amazing organization helping many in our community. Last year my mom passed away. I was left with an apartment full of furniture that did not have any emotional connection to. Hope Impacts came to my home and picked up furniture to store and give to families in need. Tina and her organization are on loan from God~helping many along the way.
My son and I come from a domestic violence situation. We became homeless and I decided to come to Texas in the hopes of a chance for new beginnings. It's been hard; it still is. At times it feels impossible to get out of this but a church member directed us to Hope Impact and it has definitely had an impact. I'm thankful to them for all the support and love. They have a big part in how blessed we are. Their encouragement and belief in me helps me believe that one day we're going to get out of this.
I volunteer for the Supper and Showers they have every Tuesday and Thursday, and i absolutely love it, I love the community that has been established there, not only are the physical needs being addressed but the social needs are too, great environment.
This non-profit empowers the chronically homeless to improve their lives. It does not encourage people to be where they’re at but loves them enough to not leave them there. They continue to grown and move forward on their initiatives. Great place to volunteer with opportunities to fit your comfort level.
Great organization for homeless that are dealing with many issues. The organization helps them get their necessary paper work in order to apply for housing. The also help those with substance abuse issues get into a treatment program. Provide hope and encouragement that things can change in their lives.
From suppers and showers to outreach work, Hope Impacts is a great resource for our community and street friends. I appreciate all that you do to help those less fortunate and will continue to support.
HI consistently has their clients interests at the top of their priorities. They make it easy for volunteers to serve. The homeless community in Katy has a tremendous resource with HI.
What can I say about the godly Christian and extraordinary incredible WomanI sister Tina with Hope Impacts there in Katy Texas, first I heard about Tina's passionate work of love and grace from many Pastors and Christians dear friends when I and my wife needed their ministry and services, we became homeless for about eight mounts my wife and I. with Hope Impacts five years ago by our small fellowship groups providing food and serving at their suppers and showers events helping us with gas, bedding furniture. I didn't know much about the homeless population at that time but seeing what sister Tina and Hope Impacts opened my eyes. Tina Hatcher and her staff are a true Blessing to not only Katy but also the Texas community. They provide help and services that no one else offers. They provide mailing addresses, identification documents, food, clothing, doctor and dentist visits, transportation, and assistance in finding housing and furnishings. I have seen lives changed, hopelessness turned into Hope, and salvation achieved thru Jesus Christ. They truly give hope and dignity to the often forgotten and ignored. If I could only donate to one charity Hope Impacts would be my top-of-the-list choice. I most definitely recommend this Hope Impacts Ministry for all the love and support you can and are able to share with them.
Sincerely, Apostle & Reverend, James Winfree Sr. Of the City of Givers, Houston, Texas.
Hi my name is Kimberly and I just want to say Hope Impacts has made such a difference in my life .From helping me the 1st time I stepped into the door! From just compassion integrity and prayer they helped me and my spouse with birth certificates, ID's, and medication to keep my spouse from being so ill. In a short amount of time we are weeks from getting our apartment!! Thank you Tina and your whole staff who cared about us. We will never be able to repay you for all you have done!! We love you guy's!! Xoxo also supper and showers is so uplifting and Michelle we love you too for all you have done for us!! CAN'T WAIT to see what your organization is going to do next! We will always support you!!
I came to know about Hope Impacts through a friend. I started following them on socialmedia. I was so impressed by the work, we decided to collect donate their most needed item during our annual drives. Hope Impacts staff make sure the homeless people are well fed, gets hot showers and occasional hot meals in a month. This year when the TX temp were consistently in triple digits, they opened the doors to these friends to spend hot afternoon in air conditioning. The Hope Impacts looked for donors to support their food, drinks for these extra helping days. As soon as the word got out, there were donors for each meal for these hottest days. Katy peeps knows the dedication of this amazing organization and were eager to help out! They not only treat the homeless with sympathy and dignity, they work to get them off of the street. They make sure the friends who moved to an apartment, has the basic things for living. We will be looking forward to supporting them as much as possible!
Hope is a wonderful non profit organization that has helped many people . I enjoy being a donor and working with Tina. They have recently moved several people off the streets and into apartments. I look forward to helping and supporting this organization for years to come.
Hope Impacts is a faith based non profit that does not rely on state or federal funding. Their passion to help our Katy, Texas area homeless become housed has been quite the success recently with more and more gaining housing. In collaboration with the Harris County Sheriffs Office Homeless Outreach Team, they have also been able to convince those in addiction to enter and exit rehab successfully giving them a new outlook and positive actions on life. They also work with the Houston Humane Society to vaccinate their pets. Without question, Hope Impacts and their leader Tina have a commitment to help end the plight of homelessness for those living without a roof over their heads. Please donate today !!!
Hope Impacts serves wholeheartedly to our area and more! They help the homeless get back on their feet, present the gospel, feed them, provide toiletries, and a hug or 2. We are honored to support this non-profit to reach the unseen/unwanted beautiful people in the area. What a difference they make in many hearts, bodies, and minds! Keep up the good work!
Great non-profit to support, volunteer and donate as a means to improve lives and give people Hope. I've worked as a volunteer, donor and board member and receive much more than I give. Watching lives change and receive salvation is a reward all its own. Do you want to be all God intended you to be? Get involved with Hope Impacts. You will be glad you did.
We all know something needs to be done about the homeless population. Hope Impacts is doing is doing it. Helping people get off the streets, treating them with dignity, and providing not only a helping hand but accountability.

As the pastor of a church in Katy, Texas, I wanted my congregation to help our community in a practical way. Homelessness is an ever present problem that haunts us at every major intersection. A few years ago we started giving a large portion of our cash offering each month to Hope Impacts. We have partnered with them in helping do events to feed the homeless, collect items like sleeping bags and other items, provided worship services and Bible teaching, and prayer. We want to do what we can because Hope Impacts is making a big difference in many individual lives. They are truly an example of what the love of Christ looks like in the real world.
Tina Hatcher and her staff do an amazing job with a hard population. They meet the homeless where they are, physically, spiritually, mentally or struggling with addiction. There is no judgment, just love and help maneuvering an incredibly difficult journey to self sufficiency. I have had the honor of working with Hope Impacts during my time with HPD’s Homeless Outreach Team and later as a Board member. Thanks to Hope Impacts there at now some resources in the far west Houston. Katy and Ft Bend area.
I am the Pastor of Charis City Church in Katy, and we partner with Hope Impacts through financial support, serving at their events and having church wide supply drives. We are so privileged to support the mission of Hope Impacts to love and serve Katy area homeless individuals. They are passionate about meeting the short and longer term needs of our street friends, as well as sharing the Good News of Jesus.
Hope Impacts is a place that gives hope when you're in a homeless situation. We're all one step away from homelessness due to a variety of causes. If we think it'd never happen to us, then we're in denial. Just by volunteering here, I met many people that came from a variety of different backgrounds that you'd never think would end up homeless. That's why I love Hope Impacts; they provide resources, community, and networking to help the homeless, and they do it with dignity and respect. Tina, the director there, has a saying that I also really love: we love you where you're at, but too much to leave you there. I can probably write paragraphs about what Hope Impacts has done for the Katy community (and now to the Richmond/Rosenberg community too!!!), but I hope more people from the community will come to learn more about Hope Impacts directly from the source instead. It's very rewarding and you learn deeply about compassion for each other here.
Today was my first day to get help from this organization. They were very helpful. I recommend them to anyone who is down and out. The founder knows how to help because she was once down and out.
After surviving Covid, a stroke, and complete kidney failure I was unable to work and lost everything. Tina immediately found resources to make sure my son and I were not homeless and to help with financial support as I am waiting for a kidney transplant. I cannot thank Hope Impacts enough for all of the support!
They have helped me get an apartment, and get off the streets, I recommend them to anyone, that needs help or homeless, they are very nice, and I got my apartment through their resources with lots of help and rides to appointments Tina spent all day with me getting my apartment together.
Before I got my apartment and was on the street they helped with food, showers, community, getting my ID, and medical needs including medicine.
I have lots of friends I've met through Hope Impacts. Now I volunteer with them when I can

Hope Impacts has always done amazing work in the Katy community. Now they are expanding to Fort Bend and it is amazing to see! Their slogan “love people where they are but not enough to leave them there” is a beautiful representation of the heart of Tina and her amazing team. They go above and beyond to care for all those that come in their path. Not just handing out badly needed items, but giving people love and support and treating them like family.
The way the team stepped up during the big 2021 freeze was incredible. Putting together a warming center and caring for those that were truly in a life and death situation should they have been left out in the streets.
Hope Impacts is more than just an organization. Hope Impacts helps create a community for those who often feel unseen. Hope Impacts pours love into people, even those who are not clients. A friend found herself needing items for her home after a sudden break-up and within hours, Hope Impacts was able to help her make her house into a home for herself and her 3 kids. Hope Impacts meets people right where they are, and loves them too much to leave them there. Once a person is ready to take the action to change the situation they are in (be it situational or chronically homeless, addiction, mental health needs, etc.) Hope Impacts will go to any length to help a person create a new road map for their lives. Walking side by side, never letting you feel alone. Hope Impacts provides ways to give a hand up, rather than a hand out. I am blessed to be a part of the community they've created.
Hope Impacts gives hope to the homeless. Forges relationships with those who feel they are no longer wanted in society. The staff are the voice, hands and feet of God to those that have felt disenfranchised by God, allowing many of them to accept His Love once again through giving food and comfort to people who need it the most. Thank you Hope impacts for your caring.
I have been working with hope impacts for a few years now. I am so grateful for the positive Impact they have had on me and my family. We have served dinners and assisted with fundraising, but the sense of community and interaction with everyone has been a life changing opportunity.
This wonderful organization has helped so many get off the streets with dignity and respect. The services offered to the homeless give them self esteem and vision for the future off the streets while meeting their immediate needs for today. Hope Impacts is a miracle for the homeless and for Katy.

Tina gives voices to the voiceless in our community with grace. Every person she comes in contact with is met with a warm smile and candid love. As a client and then a volunteer I can honestly say her love of humanity radiates through all aspects of Hope Impacts. Here you will find a safe place to get desperately needed resources from caring volunteers and staff. Everyone is family at Hope Impacts.
Tina and Hope Impacts is such a wonderful and much needed organization in our community. Tina's compassion for our street friends is such an inspiration to me. Hope Impacts is changing lives and our community. Thank you for all you do Tina!!
I support Home Impacts financially because their efforts are "hands-on" assistance and I feel my contributions directly support those in need. The Hope Impacts folks roll up their shirt sleeves and help the homeless, the hungry, and those in need with training programs, individual mentorship, and a hand up just to get started. No ivory tower mentality here, just lots of hard work. Their efforts are more than worthy of every dollar I can send their way.
Hope Impacts is very unique in all the services it provides to those facing homelessness. I began working as a volunteer proving food and fell in love with the compassion, hope and dignity offered. Great charity.
I first got involved with Hope Impacts 5 years ago by our small group providing food and serving at their suppers and showers events. I didn't know much about the homeless population at that time but working with Hope Impacts opened my eyes. Tina Hatcher and her staff are a true Blessing to the community. They provide help and services that no one else offers. They provide mailing addresses, identification documents, food, clothing, doctor and dentist visits, transportation and assist in finding housing and furnishings. I have seen lives changed, hopelessness turned into Hope and salvation achieved thru Jesus Christ. They truly give hope and dignity to the often forgotten and ignored. If I could only donate to one charity Hope Impacts would be my choice. I was recently elected to their board of directors and hope to see the dream of providing temporary housing come to pass.
I became associated with Hope Impacts a couple of years ago through a friend. Tina and the entire Hope Impact's team are so dedicated and passionate about helping the chronically and situationally homeless in the Katy area. They are a true voice for the less fortunate. You can be assured that your donations to Hope Impacts are being used for the mission and purpose of this great organization. I have learned so much being a part of this organization, it is has been a wonderful blessing for me. I urge you to look into being a part of the solution by becoming a volunteer.

Hope Impacts truly embodies its mission. Tina, and her staff, work tirelessly to be the voice of the homeless community in and around the Katy area. Each week, you can find the Hope Impacts staff and volunteers providing services to its clients and ensuring that their needs are met no matter the challenges they face because of homelessness. I am blessed to be a part of the Hope Impacts team!
I was fortunate enough to learn about this ministry through a friend who shared the same passion as I did in wanting to help those less fortunate than myself. My first meeting with Tina was amazing, as we began to share grandiose ideas about building communities to help our street friends, we laughed, smiled and it was then that my journey with Hope Impacts began. Since that faithful meeting in the summer of 2017, I have been blessed to work alongside Tina and the staff at Hope Impacts and have watched this organization perform miracle after miracle, changing the lives of countless people. Loving others when no else would. There are a lot of great organizations out there that I have been part of, but Hope Impacts truly fills the void that either others cannot or choose to not fill. Hope Impacts is the hands of feet of Jesus.
Tina Hatcher and Hope Impacts are a treasure to our community. Tina leads Hope Impacts to compassionately move in the direction of people in need. As a result, Tina and her team are making a difference in the lives of those who are so easily overlooked.
I watched Tina in action during Hurricane Harvey and was inspired to write about her on my blog. I entitled the post Hero to the Homeless. https://gobeyond.blog/2017/09/03/hero-to-the-homeless/
I remain grateful for Tina and Hope Impacts and all they do to serve the least of these in our community.

Hope Impacts and its team have been the hands and feet of Jesus in Katy for many less fortunate folks. Through their day to day operations, weekly and monthly outreach services and the inspiring, passion-driven emergency efforts (such as staying open 24-7 during Hurricane Harvey and bringing homeless into a make-shift shelter), Hope Impacts has provided help and hope for many. Thankful for the work they do!
I am a Pastor in the Katy, TX area and have partnered with Hope Impacts numerous times. They do an incredible job of reaching the community's needs and doing it with excellence and passion. Our church is pleased to continuously support them financially and i would encourage you and your organization to partner with them as well, whether that be through projects or financial support.
I came to know Hope Impacts through a connection with my church. We helped them host a Christmas feast and party for the homeless in the community. It is now an annual tradition.
Not only did Tina make certain each person got a gift - she took them for showers beforehand and had hairdressers there to do haircuts. The biggest lesson I have learned with volunteering at Hope Impacts - and helping out in the office for a season, is that the homeless like everyone else need community, respect, and hope. Each one has a story, choices, and dreams. If they want to make changes and grow Hope impacts walks with them as they make a transition back to self sufficiency and self worth. The reason the homeless trust Hope Impacts is because the assistance given is done by sharing face to face. Prayers are always offered, and genuine love is rare for them. Hope Impacts has made a great difference in our Community - we are better because Tina saw these people as souls that need love.
I am a self-employed businessman and father and the Coronavirus has basically put me out of business. That said with no financial assistance from any venue to date I was at the end of my rope on how to feed my kids and reached out to Tina from Hope Impacts. She immediately responded with several resources which was amazing her ability to connect people with their needs in the time of disaster is unparalleled. Much to my dismay both those places were out of food items by the time I got there which was my fault for not being early but even more kudos to Tina she continue to communicate with me and find out my needs and between she and another of her contacts was able to provide my kids and I with over a weeks worth of food. I can't say enough about the power of the mission of Hope Impacts and their positive effects on my family and our community. I pray the Lord will continue to bless their ministry as they and HE has blessed me!
Hope Impacts continues to make an amazing difference in people’s lives. I’ve learned so much and have greater empathy and understanding for people that are served. Hope Impacts invests in and advocates for each person that seeks help to meet their immediate and long term needs while engaging / training the community to love and help in the correct ways. Hope Impacts also connects with and encourages other ministries in the community so that all of them can make the greatest impact.
As a founder of another nonprofit in the community, I can tell you that this is a well-respected, quality organization. I have worked with them in various capacities, and what stands out is their HEART. They are not afraid to get their hands dirty and serve in an incarnations way.
The leadership goes above and beyond to serve their clients, and the invitation to join them in serving those experiencing homelessness is consistent and meaningful.
