If you are in desperate need of help don't call them. This is the second time in 6 years I have tried to get help from this place. The first time we were told to sell belongs to get the money for what we needed.

I volunteer here in the pantry, and also deliver meals to two clients. These individuals go above and beyond to prevent homelessness. Each and every individual who comes to Hope Helps are treated equally. I love going to work every Wednesday. It is such a rewarding feeling to be apart of this Non Profit.

I have been volunteering at this wonderful place for over 10 years. Outstanding organization that continues to help those in need in our community.

The Hope Chest Boutique is the BEST!! I get so many compliments on items I have bought from there! The staff is absolutely WONDERFUL! And I just love that they help so many people in need! Love, love, love this place!

I have volunteered at HOPE since 2012. I have seen HOPE help many people with Back to School events and Christmas in the City. Also people are given vouchers to get things from the thrift store. They are also given help in managing their finances and other areas.

Hope Helps seeks to help the poor and underserved in many ways. Besides the usual food pantry and thrift shop, this agency offers employment counseling, money management and other support systems. They are impressive in all ways.

It has been my honor to serve for the past 3 years as a HOPE Helps volunteer. The entire staff is dedicated to supporting the clients and offering assistance where needed. As a volunteer, it has been my pleasure to work hand in hand with these wonderful people and I look forward to many years more.

Have volunteered with Hope for 13 years. They are truly committed to making a difference in our community and its disadvantaged citizens. Housing and job assistance, Thrift Store operations and a food pantry have become essential services. The expert staff are all compassionate and sensitive individuals who are dedicated to the clients.

Broad selection of services to the community, connected with other quality non-profits in east metropolitan Orlando, well managed and supported by our community, and majority of funds used to deliver services not pay administrative salaries.

Hope Helps is one those essential organizations that fills a gap in the system. They provide a bridge for people who have fallen on hard times by giving them support to pick themselves back up and become self sufficient. An essential service in our community. I have volunteered many times with this organization and am always amazed on how well run this organization is, and how many people in my local community use their services. The organization is a gem.

Working at the Hope Chest brightens my soul and spirit. I love volunteering there. The people who work there are awesome. Everyone is respectful of each other and ready to chip in anywhere or anytime needed.

The part I love the most is knowing that this is being done for a wonderful cause and helps our community.

HOPE Helps provides invaluable services here in our community. HOPE provides a variety of services to our neighbors in need in a time of crisis. Social services are provided as well as a food pantry and thrift store where clients can 'shop' for the items they need. The 'Back to School Bash' provides all the essentials for our clients' children and the 'Christmas in the City' event ensures that each family will have gifts under the tree and a wonderful holiday even during difficult times. It's a blessing to have HOPE!

I have been a volunteer with Hope for 2 years. Everyone who works there lets us know how much we're appreciated. They have special events and great respect for their clients. I'm very happy going to "work" every week.

On occasion I have volunteered to help out at the food pantry HOPE Helps runs in Oviedo. The positive influence they have on so many local families is amazing. The appreciation shown by those that come to the food pantry is nothing less than heartwarming. I have witnessed on many occasions families expressing their sincere appreciation for the assistance. The "Back to School Bash" and "Christmas in the City" events they host are remarkable. I can't say enough good things about this organization.

I’ve been a volunteer with HOPE for ten years. It’s a truly wonderful community organization. Through the years I’ve seen thousands of people helped with housing assistance, food, personal, household and school supplies and Christmas gifts.
In addition to the needed financial and food etc. support, I’ve seen the clients treated with respect and love.

HOPE Helps is an AMAZING local charity that makes a difference (and a HUGE difference) right in our backyard.

I have worked at Hope as a volunteer for approx 6 years. Their concern for their clients can definitely be rated as superior because of their follow through and assistance with all of their clients. Their Back to School Bash and Christmas in the city are two great programs they have for their clients who have children. I enjoying volunteering with Hope and will most definitely continue to do so.

HOPE Helps is one of the few nonprofits serving Seminole County, Florida. As a bedroom community to Orlando, most of the help is located there but the needs are great in Seminole, too. HOPE Helps has delivered food to shut-ins all over the county and even brings them gifts at the holidays. For those without a church to lean on, HOPE Helps helps fill the massive void in services.

I learned about Hope Helps, Inc. while serving in a local government position that focused on underserved constituents. My tenure there enabled me to gain a good understanding about many of the local non-profits. After I left the position, I still wanted to serve, so HOPE Helps was the first organization I thought of and was thankful they allowed me to serve on their Board. From an organizational standpoint, HOPE checked all the boxes and their multi pronged approach to help families stay in their homes is, in a word, amazing. True servants, helping people who are hurting, stay in their homes.

We hear about hope so many years but we know hope since last two years. Me and my daughter got opportunity to volunteer in hope in different areas , so we know how much they are helping community and standing with families. It’s nice that someone knows you that you are from Hope family.

Not only do I love donating gently used items to this charity, but I also love volunteering in the Food Pantry. I love seeing the smiling faces of those who come in to shop from the pantry shelves. From the first time I came in contact with HOPE Helps, I have been impressed with the professional manner in which the organization is run. They care deeply for members of the local community and channel all of that caring into tangible action better than almost any non-profit I've seen. As a pastor in the Central Florida community, HOPE Helps has been an invaluable resource for people I encounter regularly, who are struggling just to get by. I have been able to refer folks to HOPE Helps for assistance with food needs, job search, and other financial crisis. Many people and families are one crisis away (car repair, medical needs, etc.) from falling into homelessness. Hope Helps is amazingly successful in helping people succeed.

I recently volunteered at HOPE's Back to School Bash! It was so uplifting to see those children be so excited about their new school supplies. HOPE does amazing work in our community!

I started donating to HOPE years ago and then was invited to be on the Board 2 years ago. HOPE fills such an important role in our community. The staff and volunteers not only help with resources and the food pantry - but they provide love and kindness when folks need it most.

As a volunteer for nearly 10 years, I have been so impressed with the heartfelt care and attention the staff feels and shares with clients and each other. They really love and care for people and their actions are a reflection of their hearts.

I have been a hope volunteer in the food pantry for 9 years, it is so rewarding to see all the help our community has been given not only for food but for housing and other help.

I pick up food donations weekly to bring to the food bank. I really enjoy interacting with all the other volunteers and staff. I have often been asked questions by people when I am doing my pick up and have been able to introduce people to this wonderful cause. I feel so proud when I tell people who I am doing this for and they tell me about a great personal experience.

I attended a seminar at Hope Helps for first time home buyers. They brought in multiple professionals to educate us on various things like home maintenance and home owners' insurance. I met my insurance agent there and still use him four years after the class. I would highly recommend this organization.

When you hear the word "HOPE" what comes to your mind? Family? Ambition? Goals? Well, what I've realized while working with this organization, is that HOPE is all in the same. I've been immeasurably astounded throughout my time working with this non-profit, and still continue to be swept away by their immense love and compassion for the community. To them, it's not the dollar that matters. It's what that dollar, that article of clothing, that donation, can do for a family in-need in our own town & that is what HOPEhelps.org is truly all about. I attended a recent Prayer Breakfast hosted by HOPE Helps and was touched by the stories shared by staff and clients. This community based charity fills gaps larger agencies are unable to address. But what is most impressive is their mission to lift families up out of poverty and provide them "Hope" to sustain independency and get back on track. Their programs target children through elderly and are delivered with such respect and care for their clients. I will continue to stay involved and promote HOPE Helps to others! Wonderful group and "hope" you will want to get involved too.

I have volunteered as one of HOPE Helps "Sham Rock N' Run 5K" organizers, helped organize food drives, Back to School supply drives and Toys drives for their Christmas in the City event for 3 years now. My husband and I have also been a table sponsor for their Vision breakfast. I am happy to help this organization because of their mission. H.O.P.E. stands for Housing-Outreach-Prevention-Education. They do an amazing job at all four. HOPE Helps has helped 1000's in Seminole County.

My experiences with Hope Helps has been fantastic. I volunteered at a charity 5K put on by hope helps and I really enjoyed myself and felt like I was really helping. The staff and volunteers alike put forth a lot of effort and hard work to make the ocassion successful and I enjoyed getting to know everyone involved with Hope Helps. Hope has been very helpful with all aspects of my needs. When I call I get a friendly voice and my needs met or an answer asap. People are always very caring. The Resource Center has gone above and beyond with me at Hope. I thank everyone there and am very thankful to have this place as a rock in the community.

I came to Hope Helps for assistance with my rental deposit. They were very helpful and understanding of my situation. Hope Helps gave me assistance immediately. I am really grateful of their services.

My family and I volunteered for years at HOPE's various events. While I was impressed with everything that they do in the community, I am even more impressed now that I am on the board. Seeing how hard the employees work and the countless number of volunteer hours and self sacrifice by numerous people to help families in crisis is amazing.

Such a joy to have the opportunity to volunteer at HOPE. Back to School Bash and Christmas in the City are the best of the best. The stories told by clients are overwhelming and the majority are so very appreciative. The lunch program for Kids of Hope makes such a difference in families and they are quick to tell you when you are a part of it.

My family and I love what the HOPE Foundation does for our community. We have been involved with it for the past couple of years with food drives, packing lunches, Christmas in the City and distributing lunches. Each time we volunteered we got so much more than we gave and walked away feeling proud to be a part of such an amazing organization that does so much good!
