Mission: Since 2001, Hope for Haitians has been committed to addressing the fundamental needs of Haitians, such as housing and clean water, promoting sustainable self-sufficiency, and implementing educational initiatives for future generations. We begin by providing secure, clean, cinder block homes to replace the inadequate shelters that families previously lived in, offering them a new start. Addressing the threat of waterborne diseases, our work includes the installation of wells and water purification systems to ensure access to clean water and improve sanitation. In the realm of community development and education, we support the formation and training of local village councils, enabling residents to self-manage. Additionally, we focus on creating sustainable food sources like goats, chickens, and gardens, and assist in establishing income-generating activities. Our efforts extend to healthcare, collaborating with Haitian medical professionals to provide essential services such as medication, testing, and prenatal care, aiming to fill the gap in primary healthcare for families in our villages.
