I recently adopted a beautiful dog from this rescue. I normally work with the Weim rescue (they are fabulous!!!!!!!), this is the first time I have worked with Hope for Animals and I am EXTREMELY dissatisfied. They will not return phone calls or email regarding your pet. To say they are unorganized would be an understatement. I have been trying to get ahold of my dogs records (which should have been sent over at the time of adoption, but were not). I spoke to one woman the very first night and she said she would fax over the shot records, but did not do so. I am sending my dogs to be trained. The trainer needs all of the shot records. After a few weeks of trying to get these shot records, I am tired and rather frustrated with this rescue. I would highly recommend using a more reliable rescue. I have only stated a few things that have gone wrong since the adoption with this rescue. During the foster/ adoption period they were very rude and demanding. This is a beautiful concept for a rescue, and I love my new family member very much, but this rescue is the worst rescue you could ever work with. I would recommend using a different more reliable rescue.
