Helpful, efficient, clear and minimal paperwork. Great doctor and staff handling diverse issues in house and via referral. Couldn't appreciate them more.
The programs and the people who work and volunteer here are amazing. I've only known about hope for 1-1/2 years and they have helped me to make it through rough times. Now, I am happy to volunteer and give back to the community. I've talked with others who are on the 'receiving' side and they are also planning to be on the volunteer 'giving' side very soon. Thanks to ALL!
I first learned of Hope in the 1990's from a friend who had received services from Hope. She then returned as a volunteer. I was impressed by several foundational principles that undergird the services available. Opportunities for prayer by staff and by those receiving help are available on every visit. Opportunities for service are available to all who receive assistance so that dignity is of utmost importance. Opportunities for individuals of all ages, races, faiths and nationalities to receive, health, dental, food pantry, laundry and other services. When volunteering, confidentiality is honored so that those volunteering do not know who is receiving assistance and who is volunteering without assistance in return. Hope Clinic has been serving the community since the 1980's, drawing volunteers from the local health professionals, local church communities and other caring, people in the area. Hope has garnered support from thousands of families in their efforts to provide assistance to those in the area who are meeting health and nutritional challenges. Hope is an established, highly trusted source of help for the people in the Ypsilanti area.
This is an amazing organization that funds and operates a full-time womens' and childrens' health clinic in Esteli, Nicaragua and uses professional volunteers to do twice annual outreach trips to find children with chronic illness in the surrounding area that need care coordination. Because volunteers give their time and expertise, a huge percentage of donations go to direct patient services! Very stable organization that's been doing this for about 20 years in the same communities- very trusted and entrenched!
