Mission: The Hope Center at Pullen connects young people aging out of foster care in Wake County with the resources and support they need for a successful transition to adulthood.
Programs: The organization targets young people between the ages of 13-25 who are at risk of aging out or have aged out of the foster care system. The organization provides support to these individuals in the areas of employment skills development, education, housing, financial management and physical and mental health. The organization also helps each individual build a strong support network including a trained volunteer mentor. Beginning in 2014, selected program participants also received assistance with certain tuition and living expenses incurred while attending a public college or university. The organization has received commitments for scholarship support through the 2017-2018 school year.
