There is plenty of food , But you have to pick the edibles, the volunteers not all though are not respectful when talking to poor people begging for food, one man talks nicely to some but not to others, I think that is being racist or discriminating to some nationalities, there is also a woman that talks disrespectfully, A few times, there is chaos, so many are cutting the line, they arrive late but they are the first inline which is unfair for others, One time I lost my bag because it was thrown in the trash. Another time , a lady volunteer pushed me so I told her not to touch me. I keep coming because I give some food to others who has no ride and to the homeless shelter. Thank you hope for the heart ♥️ even I have experience discriminatory practices.

Mission: Mission statementhope 4 the heart is an organization that feeds anyone and everyone in need. Hope 4 the heart believes a healthy community is produced by healthy families and we are working to establish that everyday. There is a great need in every walk of life, be it single parents, the homeless, families with two working parents facing hardships, the elderly, community centers, shelters, group homes, churches, or school programs for needy children. We are working together with our community to see that those needs are taken care of and we will do everything possible to fulfill that goal. The work is accomplished with volunteer labor and is provided at no cost to the recipients. Hope 4 the heart distributes over 1. 2 million dollars worth of product per month to charities, soup kitchens, and needy families in the bay area. Hope 4 the heart has a ongoing capital campaign to build a new food storage and distribution facility in 2012.
