Great place to go, The staff are so welcoming. The animals are wonderful! I would recommend services with Hoofbeatswithheart, or even if your wanting to volunteer. All around great place.
Such a wonderful facility that truly stands true to their mission and cares for their clients and their animals.

We have recently enrolled a family member in the adult treatment center. It has completely changed and enhanced her life. She looks forward to going every day. They do crafts, life skills, and even field trips.
From the moment we stepped on the property, we knew we found our "place". My children are thriving with the help of Hoofbeats therapists. So thankful we found them!
Great services for those with disabilities.

Glad to donate for a good cause.
Would recommend.

I was introduced to Hoofbeats with Heart several years ago, and I love donating my time delivering therapeutic mental health services for children, youth, and families. It has been a privilege to work with Kelley, the Founder of Hoofbeats, and all the fantastic volunteers who share the same vision, mission, and goals to help our children and community. Additionally, the love, compassion, and dedication the Founder has for rescuing animals are beyond inspiring. The animals she brings to her farm find new meaning and purpose, and their therapeutic presence is a gift. This organization's volunteer work and donations have created a ripple effect in impacting lives and helping others. Furthermore, it is incredible to see individuals return after completing their program and pay it forward by becoming a volunteer.
I've been associated with Hoofbeats With Heart for three years and personally found their services and staff to be exceptional in everything they offer to the public in the way of support, encouragement, and programs assisting adults and children in need of therapy and adult daycare.

I spend a lot of time on the Ranch watching the amazing work the Therapists do with the people that come there. I have seen them improve on many levels.
This is a great place!
Hoofbeats is wonderful place. The staff is professional and ranch is kept clean. The children have the most amazing time and the therapy has helped them reach their goals improving their quality of life.
I highly recommend this place to everyone!
My name is Michael Mosteller and I'm a Marine veteran that served this country from 1998-2008. For multiple reasons I suffer from post traumatic stress disorder and when I was once again about to go down a dark road I read a story on Google about Hoofbeats With Heart. It turns out that Hoofbeats With Heart is an equine therapy center that does multiple types of therapy, so I decided to reach out to the organization to see if they could help me and at minimum maybe find purpose by volunteering my time. It turns out that I was able to find both. I was also lucky enough to basically be on the ground floor of this new type of PTSD therapy with horses. Since I'm already an animal lover and a believer in animals being therapeutic tools I believed it was a perfect opportunity for me to get what I needed and I was right. So if any veteran or anyone else out there is struggling with PTSD and is having a hard time finding someone to help come out to Hoofbeats With Heart. You won't regret it!
I was introduced to Hoof Beats with hearts a year and a half ago and see all the wonderful things that they are doing with their beautiful horses to help children. Their staff are wonderful and caring individuals. Seeing those smiles when they are around the horses profoundly says how much they and the volunteers receive each and every time from Kelley’s Program at Hoof Beats! Truly a blessing!!!

Working with Hoofbeats With Heart has been amazing. Watching Adults and Children benefit from the amazing animals has been heartwarming. Therapy for body and mind with incredible results!

I am proud to volunteer with Hoofbeats with Heart. Horses are such special animals, able to relate to kids and adults with autism and other disabilities in so many ways, both in hippotherapy and in equine (non-riding) therapy. Hoofbeats’ has programs reaching out to so many groups, veterans with PTSD, burn and stroke victims, in addition to the children. The success of these programs encourages us to continue to look for new opportunities.
I am proud to be a donor to Hoofbeats With Heart. I have seen firsthand the wonderful work done here, both in equine therapy and traditional clinic therapy. This is a cause well worth supporting.
My first experience with Hoofbeats With Heart was as a student of Occupational Therapy Assistant program. I instantly fell in love with the relationship between the animals and the children. The owner Kelley and staff are very friendly and supportive and the ranch is wonderful. I highly recommend Hoofbeats With Heart.
Working with Hoofbeats with Heart is an absolute blessing. The work the therapists and staff does is nothing short of miraculous. I have volunteered for Hoofbeats in the past and now enjoy helping as a virtual volunteer as I am out of state. The clinic is very clean and well maintained the the farm is a relaxing oasis in Central AZ.
I work for the Pinal County Sheriff office and we work with this amazing nonprofit for our redirection program. The kids have a wonderful time being able to work with the animals.
Wonderful people make up this amazing place. They care deeply about the wellbeing and safety of both their horses and their clients. I have been a volunteer for more than 3 seasons and although the volunteer’s change, the training and consistency does not. Every hand in this nonprofit is educated about the importance of their role. Each client has made astounding strides in their physical and mental health. Hoofbeats With Heart is my first recommendation to any one in AZ searching for equine assisted therapy!
Hoofbeats with Heart is an incredible charity and I am so happy to be involved. The therapists truly love what they do and the differences they make are profound. I also love going to the farm and seeing the equine assisted therapy. Every volunteer, parent, therapist and staff member is thrilled to be there. I am happy to donate my time and money to this organization.
I have chosen to donate to Hoofbeats with Heart for the past few years. I am a retired Occupational Therapist and I see how incredibly valuable these programs are for the youth of Central Arizona. I am extremely happy to donate to Hoofbeats instead of giving the money to the state.
Hoofbeats With Heart is an amazing charity that gives so much for those in need. Whether it be a child with a disability, a veteran finding his place in the world again, or at risk youth, HBWH provides the love, care and knowledge to help all those who are looking for hope and help.

I first visited HBWH about 7 years ago and was amazed and touched seeing how these special needs children interacted with the horses and how the horses responded in return. Kelley and her staff of therapists are incredibly dedicated to their cause, changing lives one hoof beat at a time. It is because their dedication and the desperate need for programs like this is why HBWH has become the charity that we donate our time and financial resources to. This is truly a fantastic charity and program that provides services for children and adults with disabilities along with veterans, inner city children and now stroke victims with dignity health.
It is our great pleasure for our organization to provide the much needed therapies our charity provides to families in Maricopa and Pinal Counties in Arizona. We strive to be a professional, safe and fun place for our families. But most important we provide our families hope.
We are grateful and thankful to serve and our motto is "Come as you are"

My son had a wonderful experience at Hoofbeats with Heart. The instructors were caring and committed to helping my son reach his goals. I was impressed with how quickly my son was learning the routine and made progress. I am grateful Hoofbeats has created such a diverse and loving environment to bring horses and special needs individuals together. Magic happens at Hoofbeats all the time!!
It has been a dream come true to be able to bring horses together with these amazing children. I have been a Therapeutic Riding Instructor at Hoofbeats for the past 2 years and am excited for many more years to come. I have learned so much from each child I work with and am overjoyed watching them grow and blossom. I give the credit to the horses, they do amazing things for these children physically and emotionally.
A friend of my introduced me to Hoofbeats who had a child who never smiled or laugh for the first 6 years of his life. After going to an open house and then hearing, seeing and learning about the needs of children, I was hooked on helping Hoofbeats. I have been blessed to be able to work around the ranch and see the therapy given by such caring staff, professional and volunteers. But the best part is the response from the parents and children of all ages and backgrounds. Whether its caring, groom and riding on the horses which is amazing to watch and how the therapy helps the child in every area; core strength, coordination, mental attitude and even with their speech not including how it benefits the rest of the family seeing one that you love receiving help, that you did not know was any longer possible. Its truly amazing to see the improvements even after a few secession seeing the child doing things that they did not or were unable to do in the past and building their confidence.
I had considered myself to well educated person, a father and grandfather always willing to learn new things that affect our world but never had heard about the staggering real numbers of children that are affected with the different forms of Autism. Down right scary numbers. In the U.S. 1in 88 children in the United Stated are affected. 1 in 64 in the great state of Arizona and 1 in 44 boys are affected. I’m told there is no cure and that these numbers are growning even worse in the coming years. We have put a man on the moon, cured and stop many diseases and yet experts say there is no hope in site, which is unacceptable. So I ask you and your friends to join in the support by getting the word out, volunteering, giving a donation, or in-kind-gifts and referring others to come and see the great work that being done at Hoofbeatswithaheart.org and you to will get hooked on Hoofbeats.
When a non-verbal child says horse or a combative child calms, all because of the connection they have with a horse, is that a miracle? Some would say its the miracle they have been praying for~ I have seen them come true with Kelley and her Therapist help. Things that some many of us take for granted every day for our children, get ready for school, getting on the bus, school are a challenge for these very special children.
Because of Kelley and her staff, they can look forward to something - how do I know you might ask? My precious nephew, now askes for his hippotherapy, or I should say horse~ God bless them!
I met Kelley Hullihan (founder of Hoofbeats) at a fundraiser and was blown away with her organization!
I never knew there was so much to equine therapy. Visiting the ranch, I was asked to assist with a child that has Cerebral Palsy. It's hard to fight back the tears....but the way this child was reacting to the therapy amazed me!
This is when I came on board to assist in fundraisers and volunteering.
It's an amazing facility with the most loving and dedicated staff.
I was hooked on Hoofbeats with Heart Equine -Assisted Activities and Therapy Center when I witnessed a family who came to visit and observe the program. Dad was holding his son who was clearly disabled and who was flailing his arms and legs. Another child accompanied Mom. I could see the quiet desperation in their eyes. They had come seeking some kind of help for their sweet son. They came to the right place. Hoofbeats with Heart is a place of miracles. The partnership between horses and humans IS powerful medicine. After only 8 weeks of therapy, progress can be made. Those who did not speak begin to verbalize, those who could not walk, begin to be more mobile. Parents weep when a child who has been non-verbal speaks for the first time in years. How can we not be moved by these brave souls in broken bodies.
