The moment Francesca took the major role in continuing this beautiful legacy her Dad started with Homes4Veterans, I knew from the start she was going to do such an amazing job to this beautiful foundation! Not only does she get the work done, she truly cares and is super passionate about this foundation that was created from the heart to begin with. It is such an honor to be a part of this amazing organization that truly shows authenticity and care for the Veterans and their family. I am so proud of her and the growth of Homes4Veterans! Francesca you are truly an Angel and seeing the Veterans smile and so appreciative of what you do, I am beyond happy I am greatly humbled and grateful for all that you do! I/We Look forward for many more ventures together with Homes4Veterans to Continue to show the Veterans that we are truly care and we are here for them no matter what.
I was given Francesca's info and had contacted her to present at our convention. Her presentation was great and it had really hit home with our membership. She had also had a conversation and identified a person in need on that very day. The next day She coordinated with me for information and to assist that person. I could not say enough about her enthusiasm and excitement to help others and give back the the veteran community. Her an her organization are top notch and I could not say enough good things about them.
I want to thank Homes for Veterans for all they did for me improving my life with a walk in shower the whole experience went very smooth.
Homes for Veterans is a a great organization, They stand out to me in the field of human services and veteran support. They address these crucial issue of homelessness, mental health, physical needs, often providing undivided support, empathy , solutions while still preserving their legacy, integrity. This nonprofit organization demonstrate their commitment, and the importance to foster a safe, supportive, physically and mentally safe environment. Ensuring all of this while working towards decreasing veteran homelessness. I know a lot of veteran that have been provided services such as assistance for home repair, personal care item, stairlift installation, etc. in This is a great way to honor our veteran while they are still alive.
An unbelievable experience! I had no idea that people actually cared about other people in this day and age but homes for veterans is a unicorn among beings on this Earth! I can't express in words enough how grateful I am for this experience!
Homes for Veterans is a wonderful organization made up of people that truly care about the veterans they serve. For a small organization they do so much and truly stretch every donation as far as it can go to serve as many people as possible. I love their mission, believe in their cause, and am always happy to support them in any way that I can.
This is an excellent organization!! Helping so many fix their homes many of which need to be ADA compliant. They’ve helped so many rebuild their lives and continue to live with dignity.
Homes For Veterans helped me, and my family when we most needed it. Our water pump, and our oil furnace broke at the same time during Christmas. My home was barely livable. Until the caring, generous volunteers and organization of Homes For Veterans stepped in, and provided a complete replacement of my furnace system! Thanks to HFV my family has heat and hot water to live.
Homes for Veterans is a wonderful organization!! I am so happy for people like them in the world. They made sure to convert my basic shower into an excellent fully walk in handicap shower. I have a seat that I can sit on now and not have to worry about falling.
Thank you, Homes for Veterans!
Surely, you will be blessed for every great deed you guys have done and will do!
This non-profit meet all of my requirements. Additionally, it has made my life easier and accessible. I would definitely recommend this organization to not only veterans but people with accessibility issues as well.
I cannot express how grateful I am for Homes For Veterans. Through their generosity, I now have access to a bathroom including a roll in shower. For the past forty years, I have been battling Multiple Sclerosis. Since I am now in a power wheelchair, I could not access our bathroom. Thanks to Homes For Veterans, I can access a sink, toilet, and especially a roll in shower! Working with Dave and Francesca has been an absolute pleasure! They are so dedicated in helping to improve Veterans lives! I am forever grateful!
Thank you for all you do!
So when I first purchased my very "first" home it was pretty rough with it not being very wheelchair accessible. I reached out to Home 4 Vets with Francesca and not only did they help they went so above and beyond what I could ever imagine my home could be. Making cabinets I could reach to making a roll in shower where I didn't fear of falling all the way to my new deck that not only lets me relax and destress a long day but also giving me another emergency exit in case of any emergency where I can't use the front door. I almost feel that I'm living in a resort considering I have everything I could possibly need and can now call my house "home". This organization not only gives you the ability to be more able while being disabled, but also gives you so much more as giving me one of the biggest parts of my life back of being independent. I can't thank everyone at Home 4 Vets enough even if had 2 lifetimes to do it.
Francesca & Homes for Veterans do an incredible job of helping those who are unable to help themselves. Professional, courteous, and willing are just a few words to describe Homes for Veterans. We need more people like Francesca & organizations that love to give back.
Francesca and her team do such an incredible job bridging the gap for our Veterans. Francesca truely cares, and provides hope to many Veterans and their families through increasing their quality of life in their own home. She partners with fantastic nonprofits and businesses to provide safe and effective access for Veterans in their own homes. A true gem.
Homes for Veterans is truly an amazing organization!! Francesca always goes above and beyond for the veterans, she truly believes in the mission from the bottom of her heart. I would definitely recommend any veteran looking for help to reach out to this organization, they make incredible things happen!

I work with Francesca to help our Veterans through the construction process. I’m honored to work with such a passonate person who gives all her time to Homes For Veterans. Without Homes For Veterans I don’t know how these Veterans would get help.
I met Francesca's father when he first started HOV. I was an immediate donor and still am. I have worked with Francesca. She is bright, energetic, dedicated and has taken HOV beyond New Jersey to help veterans in other states. This is a well run extremely active organization. I highly recommend supporting HOV.

I am a combat veteran with a spinal cord injury. I found Home for Veterans information on the Internet. I contacted them about needing a second exit from my home, and a way to gain access to the back of my home. They contacted me, and told me to send them some quotes. They quickly selected Med Mart. They quickly called me and scheduled a date, came out and installed the ramp. I appreciate Home for Veterans and could not recommend them more.
I worked with Homes for Veterans for my Eagle Scout Project. We delivered personal care items to homeless veterans in Queens New York. It was truly a moving experience. Homes for Veterans was a huge part of my Eagle Project and loved working with them.
Homes for Veterans is an extraordinary charity that EVERYBODY can get behind. The mission is admirable and many of our veteran heroes are reaping the benefits of their efforts. As a disabled man myself, I know how difficult life can be if a home is not fully accessible. This organization makes life so much more enjoyable for the people who fought to preserve our way of life!
We are so grateful to our Veterans and feel honored to give back for all they have done to keep our country safe throughout the years. We are gratified to continue the legacy of Douglas DiPaola through the efforts of his children, Anthony and Francesca and wife Joanne DiPaola and hope to continue to succeed by reaching out to our veterans to make their lives better.
Homes For Veterans is a wonderful organization that helps veterans who might benefit from having modifications made to their homes so that they can maintain their quality of life. I had the privilege of referring veterans from the Bergen County area, and I was moved by the impact that they have had. Their hardworking crew not only does house improvements for veterans, but they also connect them with other organizations that may help with a variety of other needs. Because of their forward-thinking initiatives and unwavering dedication to helping those who have served our country, Homes For Veterans is recognized as a renowned leader in the nonprofit sector, which helps improve the lives of veterans all around the country. I strongly recommended that you support this great organization as I have seen first hand how they been able to help our veterans.
Homes for Veterans is a great organization to help veteran and their families getting railings on stairs and safety bars in bathrooms for elderly veterans like myself. I don't know what I would do without their help.
God Bless the great people running this organization.

i’ve seen the kind of work this organization does and it’s incredible. they change lives across the country and really care about veterans. the work they do is clear - they improve the lives of veterans and make them safe. it’s an honor to be a volunteer and i cant wait to continue to be apart of this community
Homes For veterans was a lifesaver for me. I've only had the pleasure of dealing with Francesca and Dave, but the support they give and their foundations cause really elevated my lifestyle. Being paralyzed in a Wheelchair they've made it a point to bear my burden and make my home accessible for me. Thank you all at Homes for Veterans so much for everything, there's no end to the positive impact you've created on my life!
Homes for Veterans is such an amazing organization. Full of heart, hope, compassion, dedication and love. Francesca and Dave are very passionate in seeing that veterans are cared for and they go above and beyond in making people feel important and supported. They truly are angels among us.
Homes For Veterans recently helped my mama who is a Vietnam Veteran and served in the WAC where she treated and took care of the brave soldiers. She then went on to nursing and saved many lives. She has since become disabled and has fallen several times. This has made it difficult for her to bathe properly. She had to resort to bathing on the bathroom toilet which has resulted in her being hospitalized with infections. We were lost and thought no one cared and didn't know what to do. Then we heard about Homes For Veterans.
From the moment I filled out the application for assistance for my mama, Francesca immediately got in touch with me. I knew this was something different. For the first time in a long time my mama and I had hope.
I was so very impressed at the urgency and compassion Homes For Veterans displayed through the entire process of getting my mama help. My mama felt like a human being again and knew that someone cared. That she mattered. I cannot thank Homes For Veterans enough for this alone.
Thanks to Homes For Veterans, my mama will soon be having a walk-in bathtub installed which will help prevent her from falling again, stop having to be hospitalized with infections, and let her have dignity again.
Thank you so very much Homes For Veterans. We will never forget what you have done for us. It is so much more than you could ever know.
My name is Les. I am a Vietnam Veteran. I have Parkinson's and PTSD. This is the greatest organization. They went out of their way to help me. They got me more than I ever thought I would get. Francesca went out of her way to help me. She is a very caring person. I can now look forward to living in my home.
I witnessed the impact Homes For Veterans had on the quality of life of a Vietnam Veteran, Dennis Linderman, and his devoted wife, Debbie; firsthand. My company was commissioned by HFV to document the Linderman’s story before, during, and after receiving a walk-in shower.
Upon first meeting Dennis and Deb, they demonstrated how difficult daily life had become; it pained me to observe their struggle. I could see the hurt and embarrassment on Dennis’ face as he’d say, “I should be able to do this myself.” I could feel Deb’s struggle, too. She was not only concerned for her husband, but she also struggled a great deal to physically assist him while doing so. That tub was only a foot-tall, but to Dennis, it was a mountain.
Over the course of a single day, the Homes For Veterans contractor removed the Linderman’s old tub/shower combination and replaced it with a brand-new walk-in shower. To say that Dennis and Debra were overjoyed is an understatement. Together, they began singing, “We got a walk-in shower! We got a walk-in shower!!” as Dennis exclaimed, “Ah, I can do it myself!”
HFV doesn’t just give veterans showers, kitchens, and hardware. They improve the quality of life of our veterans through small acts of kindness that have enormous and lasting impacts on the women and men who have selflessly served our nation. To quote my new friend, Dennis, “Homes For Veterans has given me my dignity and manhood back.”
Francesca is hands down the best! She is an angel. She put up a deck for my Veteran husband. My husband David was hurt in Iraq.. Now he and his service dog can easily go inside and out to get fresh air and I don't have to worry he will fall down the steps. HE Can also get in our pool now to swim which relieves some of his back pain. The deck is just beautiful. We spend so much time out there. David loves the outdoors. She made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. If it was for Homes For Veterans my husband would never be able to sit outside on his ownor swim. Thank you so much! You really are an angel
HFV is a wonderful organization with a passion to help our veterans. Doug DiPaola was a phenomenal human being and his is sorely missed. He helped me a few times over the years when one of our veterans was in need. He never said NO! His daughter, Francesca, is continuing his legacy and I know Doug is very proud of the work she is doing. She is always looking for ways to help and has really put this organization on the map! I am so honored to work with them and looking forward to many more projects together!
No words can express the kindness and compassion for this organization. They are truly caring, and care very much about the veterans they are in contact with. I told my story to Francesca and she didn’t hesitate to offer to help me. I couldn’t go up and down stairs, and she was upset when I told her the only way to get downstairs was to walk down backwards. This organization is truly interested in helping veterans in their need. Francesca got me approved for a stairlift installation in my house in several hours. Truly amazing!!! They are the best....
As a victim of Hurricane Ida, I was helpless and feeling my life was in shambles. My home flooded and my things destroyed, I did not know where to start or who O can rely on for help because I never ask for help from anyone. I’ve always been self sufficient even in the ARMY, I had a hard time asking for help. I figured I would do it best so I might as well do it myself. Which my soldiers loved. But this Hurricane left me desperate and that’s when I found this amazing organization Homes For Veterans A NJ Non-Profit. They helped more then they could ever realize! And if there is ever a situation where I can help, then count me in. This is a 10 star out of 5 star organization! Thank you for everything!
Homes For Veterans is an organization that not only changed my life they also changed the lives of my fellow veterans by rebuilding my kitchen. I was in desperate need of accommodations and upgrades due to my service connected injuries in order to provide food for other veterans. Homes for veterans provided me with an amazing kitchen. I am now able to provide over 1,000 meals a week for those in need while also having a beautiful addition to my home. I am forever grateful

When Doug DiPaola brought me on board with Homes For Veterans all the way back in August of 2011, it was to design the website. I immediately fell in love with this great non profit thanks to Doug's passionate beliefs in helping our veterans lead more productive lives despite their great sacrifice for our country, the loss of limbs, motor ability and movement.
Soon after the website launch, Doug asked me to become a board member. I was thrilled then as I am now to be part of a group that does so much good for so many veterans.
With the untimely passing of Doug in April of 2020 due to COVID19 it has been my distinct pleasure and honor to serve with his daughter, Francesca, who pulled up by her bootstraps to take over the good, no, great work her father had been doing.
I am happy to be a part of this team and this non-profit and look forward to helping Homes For Veterans grow, and help as many veterans as we possibly can!
Homes for Veterans is a small charity organization that has done big things for a very marginalized group in our society, our veterans. Our founder and late president, Douglas DiPaola, helped so many veterans and their families out of the kindness of his heart. In April, we lost Douglas, who is also my father, to COVID19, much too soon as he was only 60 years old. My dad loved this country and worked very hard to build Homes for Veterans into an organization that could change lives - while also working to support our family. He instilled strong values into my brother and I. We were taught to respect our country and be thankful for our liberty and the opportunities we had growing up in America. We were taught to give back to those who served and scarified for our freedom. We were taught to work hard and earn our merits. My dad is missed so much and loved so much. We are carrying on in his name to help as many veterans as humanly possible. We may be a small organization but together our community has accomplished big things. If you know a veteran in need or would like to support our cause, please visit our website.
