I am a former Hollywood Florida Scholarship Foundation scholarship recipient. Currently I am finishing my 4th year in medical school and simultaneously pursuing a Masters in Public Health. I will forever be thankful for this wonderful organization and its members as it gave me the opportunity to change my life and see the world from a new perspective- as a professional. I am the first person in my entire family to attain a college education and soon I will be the only one to hold a prestige degree. This foundation changed my life for the better and now I have the opportunity to give back to community as a physician and public health professional. I also am committed to helping other underprivileged students find their potential because there are many gifted students out there who just need a little support and encouragement to get their life on the right track.
