Causes: Health, Patient & Family Support
Mission: The mission of Holiday Heroes is to provide joy and improved quality of life to pediatric patients through a combination of in-person and virtual programs. Holiday Heroes uses its experience, creativity, resources, and passion to inspire long-lasting joy and happy memories for pediatric patients and their families, thereby making a positive impact on their recoveries and their lives.
Target demographics: We help bring joy and happiness to pediatric patients within the hospital and medical care facilities.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 8,000 patients and families.
Geographic areas served: We provide our pediatric programs in Illinois, California, Wisconsin, Texas, Louisiana and New York.
Programs: By providing a combination of in-person “parties” and online programs (twitchTV and virtual visits), activity boxes, catered meals, themed gifts, and costumed superheroes. We help to brighten the days for young patients and their families in order to give them the energy and encouragement to fight on. All at no-cost to the patients and facilities.
