How does forcing your clients to go out every day to sell cheesecakes and collect money for your rehab help them recover from their drug and alcohol addictions? This place sounds like a slave-labor camp to me.
My brother was lost in addition to drugs, hogar crea in Orlando, Fl helped HIM get better, but also his free will and family support played a big influence in his life. Today I'm so proud of him because today he still remains in HOGAR CREA he has giving his life to the place and to the fellows in this organization. Today he sits in this wonderful place as a Director of Hogar Crea. I'm very lucky and honored that my BROTHER L.M. continues to dedicate his life to this place he calls HOME. lOVE you brother.

I own Frankie O's Pizza in Stuart Florida and the guys from Hogar Crea come in and with their great cakes and flan! Between my staff and myself, we usually buy them out!! Great treats and charity!!! Don't forget to stop by soon guys!!!!
I was going shopping with my elderly mother on Merrit Island, when a handsome, polite young man walked up to us on the sidewalk with a tray containing several kinds of cheesecakes. He explained about the Hogar Crea program and the $5 donation for a cheesecake. I was happy to help and the cheesecake is delicious. He was an excellent representative of and spokesman for the program. I wish I had asked his name to thank him personally, but I will not forget him.
This program saved my life. I was desperate,had no money, was homeless, with a very severe drug problem that had plagued me for about 15 years. They took me in as family on March 3rd, 2009, helped me with my addiction. They taught me what it is to be a man, helped my define my character, rebuild my confidence, and most importantly, learn to love myself and others. I am still sober today and I am active with Hogar CREA, and I now have an outstanding life. God Bless CREA!
This center provides such an incredible service to men who struggle with any form of addictions at no cost to the family. How does such an amazing service go un-noticed by the general public and the government? I have has a chance to visit the facility in Orlando and meet the Director and State Treatment Director who are doing such an incredible job! Just recently visit Hogar Crea to see what it was all about. Lost a loved one last year due to his struggle with addictive behaviors. Hogar Crea could have helped him, had only we known more about it! After the loss, one of the representatives from Hogar came into my work in Sarasota with the flans. I held onto the flier he gave me and later went to chk it out when I was back in Orlando. The facility is a commendable place. They dont charge the men and women anything for their services, they only require they work to help make and distribute the flans. Sounds like a fair trade to me. This place deserves recognition and community support!
I only know of HOGAR CREA INTERNATIONAL of FLORIDA, INC because a group of men come to the building where I work( in Valdosta, GA) every other wek or so. They bring a variety of baked goods i.e. cinnamon coffee cake, pinneapple cake, chocolate peanut cake, etc. . They ask for $5 donations. I feel it well worth the price espeially since the cause helps get adicts of the street.
Upon googling their name today, it looks as if the Orlanda, FL locations has taken legal action and from reading court documents someone is using their name with out permission.
The cakes I buy are said to come from the Jacksonville, FLA location. What is their afilliation with this law suit?
