The History Center is a wonderful place. We love taking friends and family there. The exhibits (especially the ones in the Smithsonian wing) are top-notch and the Sports Museum is great for sports fans!

The Heinz History Center is a great cultural resource. I am a proud Pittsburgher and think this museum is an amazing asset to have in our community. Not only is it a great place to visit with family of any age, but it is truly filled with information that links me to my past, my family origins and more. What an amazing impact Western PA has had nationally and globally. A must-see for any Pennsylvanian or visitor of our great city!

The Heinz History Center is a must see for anyone with an interest in the history of Western Pennsylvania. The special exhibitions (for example, Vatican Splendors and Ben Franklin) are creatively curated and tend to be "hands-on" and appealing to all ages. For those interested in the colonial period as well as the French & Indian War / Revolutionary period, I also strongly recommend the Ft. Pitt Museum and the Meadowcroft Rockshelter which are both operated by the History Center.
