My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her visit when the museum opened for the 2nd grade walking tours from our local elementary school. She liked seeing the soldier dressed up in front of the museum, and liked the pictures of the houses inside. My daughter has asked us to take her back when she will have more time to explore the exhibits, and we are happy to do so.
It's good to see the Historical Society engaging in community outreach to students at such a young age in order to get them interested in history.
