This is a great organization that developed out of the local Urban Renewal era of this historic village's history in the late 1960's through to the 1970's. It has about 3 or 4 local museums with annual events that really bring the community together. It acts like a local welcoming center for our annual out-of-town visitors. The executive director, a real go-getter, also functions as a docent and tour guide for the museums. Anything an out-of-town guest needs to know can be found out with a conversation to the executive director, who goes out of her way to find out.
