Causes: Arts & Culture, Museums
Mission: To enchant young and old alike with the finest carousel in the world; to promote the artistry of carousel building and to foster community partnerships that spark growth in the Albany area while providing family activities generating memories and community pride.
Results: 12,000 visitors a month!! People from all over the world have come to ride our menagerie style carousel! Billions of wonderful memories made!!!
Target demographics: bring happiness and joy to others while revitalizing the downtown area!
Direct beneficiaries per year: Dozens of handicapable children and adults, foster children, and hundreds of the less fortunate children who visited here.
Geographic areas served: Downtown Albany, Oregon.
Programs: Outreach and support to local members of our community and partnering with other local nonprofits to benefit the most vulnerable, while also offering an outlet to all members of the public to share in the happiness and joy of our enchanting carousel world! We also provide volunteer opportunities and have some of the finest craftsmen in the world working on painting and carving the animals we have on our carousel!
