Mission: To promote health equity for all hispanic children and adults by empowering, educating and advocating for healthy communities throughout georgia.
Programs: Feria de salud/health fair - hosted and organized annual health fair serving 400 latino families. With partners and sponsors like northside hospital, piedmont hospital, southside medical center, local county health centers and walgreen's to name a few. We were able to provide health services, health education and medical homes to uninsured latino families and their children. Some of the services provided: free flu shots, check up and lab work for blood pressure, glucose, mammograms, vision and hearing, and pregnancy tests.

What a horrible organization. Most board members have business dealings between them including the ED. The have no staff because they do not pay anybody other than themselves. The real staff left many of them unpaid. They hire a private company to do the outreach and lie in all reports. They comingle funds and are just the worst. No meetings, no outreach, nothing in the last 2 years, just pocketing the money.
