western conservation campaign - haf designed a program to harness the latino community's passion for public lands and increase their capacity to engage in conservation of land and water to ensure the health and well being of generations to come. Through our 4 stops, 1 destination tour latino college students experienced six national parks in western states and engaged public audiences through an integrated communications and social media campaign; students educated the public and key government officials on the need for balance between conservation and energy development. Por la creacion faith based alliance engaged youth, families and communities throughout the west in conservation projects and outdoor experiences to educate and build leadership in conservation and to improve public health.
