Nonprofit Overview

Mission: To provide gently used clothing, shoes, coats to those who are struggling in todays economic downturn. To do so without discrimination or prejudice. To give with an open heart We help other non profits with our overage within the area on a rotational basis. We also have helped people who have lost everything in house fires on occasion we have the sizes they need for their families (we do not always since we do rely on donations), we do not get outside funding from anyone, nor grants. We also have free clothing giveaways at our local Catholic church, they allow us to use one of their rooms within the church, we help locals with the clothing (seasonal), we also partner with Planet aid to share it out more globally.

Results: We have helped countless families in and around our area make ends meet during these economic tough times, some have achieved jobs with our clothing through interviews, children are able to go to school well dressed, these individuals and families are able to pay bills that they might not be able to afford with buying shoes, coats, clothing for themselves and their children. The items they recieve here seasonally help save a lot of money. You can find us on facebook, we do not spend any money on ads/advertising or website since no one really paid attention to the one we used to have, it was a waste of money. We try to help folks out without spending a lot of money. No one is paid through our work, we are all volunteers. We have a small store that sells items super cheap to pay the overhead, and also use as a warehouse for storage to help others on a deeper level by giving to places that give it free, and having our free local giveaways to help our community that struggles.

Target demographics: Low or no income families and individuals in the northeastern area of Kansas from maternity to birth on up.

Direct beneficiaries per year: Families who experience fires in their homes, many individuals and families within our area that struggle living on poverty level, we also help keep a plethora of clothing out of our landfills by donating to several local and non local non profits, we have a small section within our store that offers free clothing, etc. to those who are in dire need (free), with limits/guidelines, we seek out folks online and personal message them when we have the sizes to help them with free clothing/shoes, etc.
