Hire Heroes USA

As a professional and philanthropist, I work and volunteer with a number of nonprofit organizations. I recently began my experience with Hire Heroes and could not be more impressed with the professionalism and compassion with this group. I have enjoyed every step of onboarding and am excited to be part of the future of Hire Heroes.

Hire Heroes is truly amazing. When I contacted them I was preparing to leave the U.S. Navy and transition to the private sector, a daunting task that can seem very challenging. I knew that I had a solid set of skills gained from the military, but I had no idea how to organize them on a resume or even where they might be applicable. In just two days, Hire Heroes turned my list of skills and objectives and turned it into a highly polished, easily readable resume. They also provided me with templates for cover letters, acceptance letters, letters of recommendation, and other important forms of correspondence. From that point on when a potential employer contacted me I knew I had the right was to respond right on my desktop.

With the help of Hire Heroes, I was able to secure a job in the field, location, timeframe, and salary range that I wanted with NO gap in my employment after leaving the military!

Every interaction I've had with the Volunteer Coordinators and Clients has been outstanding! They are professional, responsive, and truly appreciate the volunteers. I wish I would have known about Hire Heroes when I was coming off of my time as an Air Force officer some years ago. I'm very familiar with them now, as I not only volunteer with them, but I have some very close veteran friends that have taken advantage of their services to find outstanding civilian employment opportunities. I had the privilege of meeting Brian Stann, their CEO (a Silver Star recipient in the USMC), and you could not find a man more passionate about helping veterans find success after their military service. As a third generation Air Force officer, I can't say enough positive things about this organization. Keep up the good work Hire Heroes!

This organization is truly a godsend. I am always "bugging" Kwami, in the Dallas location. He is always welcoming and happy to assist me. I have never had to actually "look" for a job so, this organization has worked with me and done things for me that have saved me so much time and effort. I cannot thank you guys enough and praise this organization enough.

I can say that everyone at Hire Heroes makes you feel like family. They truly care about your needs and what us service members face when we are looking for a career once are time in uniform comes to an end. They explained the process, walked me thru the steps to become successful in my job searching; from resume, mock interviews, search tips, weekly some time daily check ins to see how I was doing an if they could assist in anyway.
Because of the help I received was able to a find dream job and I am know working for the Dallas Cowboys.

As one of many organizations "assisting" veterans with job search skills, Hire Heroes USA has remained true to their mission. "creating job opportunitites for US military veterans and their spouses through personal employment training". The metrics available to donors is transparent and shows results. The organization is accurately placing 1 veteran per business day, measurable outcome. The partnership with the USO's Warrior and Family Care program is increased from less than 10 workshops a year to over 30 a year. These workshops target the most vulnerable group of veterans; the wounded, ill, disabled medically retired. This group has unemployment numbers above 50%. All other veterans are served via the internet and personal work with Hire Heroes staff on the phone. Unlike many "hiring fair" or "resume" services, Hire Heroes takes the time and works in person with the veteran.
