Causes: Human Services
Mission: Hip hop public health, inc. ("hhph") is an organization founded in may of 2011 committed to innovative public health solutions. Our mission is to end health illiteracy through music and foster positive health behavior changes. The cornerstone of hhph educational activities is the use of hip hop music and its incorporation into entertainment vehicles (such as short animated features and health video games) as part of a multimedia curriculum designed to motivate healthy behaviors among children and their families. The work of hhph is and will be funded by generaous foundational and individual donations.
