Himalayan Aid is a registered U.S. 501(c)(3) non-profit and a Nepal Social Welfare Commission registered, authorized and endorsed charity. U.S. form 990 tax filings since 2010 have shown no income due to the direct, Nepali-based aid efforts and individualized direct ground transfers resulting in no U.S. gross receipts. Himalayan Aid was a significant contributor to the aid effort in the post-earthquake months of May-July of 2015 and began to receive direct donations under its 501(c)(3) designation. This will be reflected in a fully available IRS form 990 filed for fiscal year 2015.
