Mission: The hillsboro tuesday marketplace provides a cultural, educational marketplace where farmers, specialty food producers, artisans, restauranteurs, entertainers, educators, and the entire complex of the community can gather regularly during the summer months.

the hillsboro tuesday marketplace provided thirteen weeks of performing and visual arts events during the summer months to an average of 6,000 hillsboro area citizens each week. Cultural events included musical performances at two stages, for each market date. Artisans and crafts persons provided weekly interactive demonstrations in their individual areas of expertise. In a partnership with tuality hospital, the hillsboro tuesday marketplace provided thirteen weeks of health-based programs dealing with: cancer awareness, prevention, and screenings; cardiovascular health; asthma and healthy house environment; preparing for pregnancy; play therapy; kid's safety; sexually transmitted diseases; teen sexual abstinence; women's health; child car seat safety; substance abuse and addictions; and teen issues.
