This is a wonderful agency that does a lot for all of Highlands County, in Florida.

In 2024, they launched the Grow Community Teaching Garden. This is a community garden and teaching space that hosts workshops, health fairs, agribusiness classes, donation of free produce grown in the garden, a children's area, and more.

This underserved community has decided to take the reins in its own hands. Not an easy task but the fortitude of this board, community volunteers and this organization's Executive Director is beyond understanding. The great number of accomplishments with such little resources is absolutely amazing. I am so proud to now serve on this all volunteer board and to be a part of such positive change. If you are looking for an organization to donate to, one that will use your money and time wisely, this is the organization. Your dollar will go a very long way!
