I have had the amazing opportunity to volunteer with High Voltage on several projects. I am continuously amazed at the impact High Voltage makes on the New Orleans community. One of the things I most appreciate about High Voltage is their consistent outreach and support for the local community. They uphold their mission each year providing an Easter egg hunt, Christmas Toy Drive, Mardi Gras senior projects, as well as an MLK day appreciation project each year- just to name a few. High Voltage is not only a major support system for our communities, but also for the non-profit sector. High Voltage is extremely collaborative with other local non-profits with similar missions. They are always looking at ways to get involved and connect others with meaningful pathways to impact as well. If you are looking to donate or volunteer with a New Orleans organization, I really cannot recommend High Voltage enough. High Voltage represents the true definition of civic care and social compassion- truly a blessing to be a part of.
It has been a pleasure and honor to volunteer with an Awesome non- profit for over three years. My son and I have Volunteered with High Voltage on many occasions. Seniors Pajamas Party, Seniors Chicken and Waffle ( Mardi Gras Style), Easter Egg Hunt, Hurricane Ida Relief For Needed Families , Fundraisers , Beautification Projects, Movie Night with Lafitte Green Way and Other Events. High Voltage is Making A Difference and Being There For People Who Need Support, Someone to talk to, providing resources, and Meeting People Where they are. The City Of New Orleans Is Blessed To Had An Amazing Non- Profit Who Cares About People and Would Go The Extra Mile Without Complaining.
I have donated and volunteered for several years for High Voltage. It is truly an organization of achieving results for all of its activities for youth and seniors in need. I would invite anyone who wants to really make a difference with people, this is the group to be a donor or volunteer.
