Causes: Neighborhood & Block Associations
Mission: To maintain the hidden village mobile home property which consists of 20 mobile home lots. The lots may only be occupied by tenants with income no greater than 80% of the average median household income in thurston county at the time of initial occupancy. Rents are subject to limitations based on each tenant's current income levels based on annual income verification. Income must be used to repay the mortgage on the property, establishment of reserve funds and maintenance of the property. Maintenance of the property includes physical maintenance and all administrative costs associated with such maintenance.
Programs: To manage and maintain hidden village a low income mobile home residential property serving tenants having a household median income not greater than 80% of the average median household income in thurston county as specified by government funding sources. Forgivable government loans were the primary source of financing at the initial purchase of the mobile home park. Each loan is reflected as a long-term liability until the association has met the low-income restrictions for a specified period of years.
