The Heroes to Heroes Foundation in Fort Lee, New Jersey is a faith based veterans service organization which takes U. S. military veterans with moral injury or post-traumatic stress disorder on a tour of the Holy Land. The journey, which is NOT religion specific, is a healing journey where U. S. and Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) veterans have the opportunity to see the ancient area that is the center of the three (3) largest religions--Christianity, Islam and Judaism. The tour gives veterans the opportunity to find inner peace and deal with painful experiences incurred while in military service and to 'jump start' or accelerate the healing process. I went in September of 2019 and the tour has helped me tremendously.
