Mission: The agency provides older adults with comprehensive and coordinated human services to encourage and promote healthy lifestyles, independence, well being and quality of life.
Programs: Senior center - open monday-friday, the agency offers a wide variety of educational, recreational, social, and nutritional programs. These programs provide opportunities for companionship, education, and volunteering. 1,293 group sessions were provided for 1,286 older adults with a duplicated attendance count of 11,387.
care management - staff assesses client needs, refers them to appropriate services, and follows up to determine adequate service delivery, client satisfaction and other needs. Provides opportunities for independent living and support for the homebound. 1,672 referrels were provided this year with 461 new persons being served. 23% of these individuals were at or below 200% of the poverty level.
friendly visiting - trained volunteers and staff visit homebound elderly persons to observe and support their well-being. Program alleviates loneliness, provides support and promotes independent living. 35,686 hours of friendly visiting services were provided in 2017 to 70 adults.
