The HepC Alliance is an incredible organization, and we could not recommend their services enough. Their dedication to education and awareness is outstanding. The Alliance provides comprehensive information about Hep C, including its transmission, symptoms, and available treatments. The Alliance's advocacy efforts are commendable as well. They actively work to improve access to Hepatitis C testing and treatment options, advocating for policies that benefit patients. Their dedication, compassion, and commitment to improving the lives of individuals are truly commendable.
I have been proud to serve on the board of directors for Hep C Alliance for many years now and am honored to be associated with such a committed, passionate, caring group. As a provider in substance use treatment, I have worked closely with Hep C Alliance to coordinate testing and access to care with great success.
HepC Alliance has always been very knowledgeable and professional. We have relied on HepC Alliance for all our Hep C testing for many years and will continue to do so for as long as we are able.
HepC Alliance is a great nonprofit organization! This organization provides free Hep C testing to most people but is great for our high- risk and uninsured clients that might not otherwise know their status. Clients that are positive for Hep C, ab can receive other lab testing thru this organization at a very low cost. Also clients are educated about their diagnosis and referrals are given for further evaluation. I have been in Public Health for 22 years and one of my goals was to find a way to offer HCV testing to my clients at a reduced cost. This nonprofit organization has surpassed my goal and has helped so many of my clients. This program makes a difference in the lives of our clients and helps reduce the spread of HCV in our community. Thank you HepC Alliance staff for all your hard work to keep this very important program going!
We have been partnering with Hep C Alliance now for around 4 years and since we are in a rural area, their services are very much needed. We enjoy working with them and look forward to the future with them.
They're very user friendly, easy to work with and educational in the field of Hepatitis C in our area.
Hep C Alliance is the only non-profit in Missouri that focuses on hepatitis C testing and linkage to care. Without their discounted testing it would not be possible for people who are uninsured or under insured to have access to affordable testing. They are an essential resource to the citizens of Missouri and beyond.
This company not only provides free screenings but also educates people on Hepatitis C. They are a great asset to our community.
HepC Alliance has been a fantastic game changer with testing, diagnosing and providing resources for Hepatitis C. There is currently no funding for Missouri Public Health Lab via Department of Health and Senior Services to test for hepatitis C. HepC Alliance has changed that and has been instrumental in helping those who are uninsured or unable to pay for this test and get them diagnosed and on their way to a healthier life.
Hep C Alliance has countless clients with whom I work easily obtain free confirmatory testing for hepatitis C and other lab work for hepatitis C treatment. Without their assistance, my clients would face a major, unnecessary bottleneck in the linkage to care process. I'm extremely thankful for the HepC Alliance's programs.
It's a great affordable way for our clients to get tested when they might not otherwise consider it! Great resource!
I am a RN and work in a local health department. We utilize Hep C Alliance, Inc. for testing the general public for Hepatitis C. They are an amazing place and always a great resource to give the client. Bruce Burkett is always friendly and welcoming to any questions we may have. The staff is highly qualified and very nice!
The Mid Mo Health Expo was great and the Hep C Alliance did a great job organizing. Will continue to work with them in the future for other health fairs for sure.
My charity, NeedyMeds , has worked with HepC Alliance for a number of years. They have always been very cooperative, responsive, and helpful. Their information is current and helpful. The people we have worked with have been outstanding. I highly recommend them.
Our local health department has partnered with Hep C Alliance, formerly Mo Hep C Alliance, since approx. 2000. Bruce and his staff are always available to provide necessary support in running the program. With this program, we have provided testing, education, and referrals for hundreds of our clients who otherwise would not have been able to be tested. It is a great program!!
Greatly appreciate the education and resources that Hep C Alliance has provided for my family! When my father-in-law was contemplating therapy for his Hep C diagnosis, Hep C Alliance was able to direct us to various funding sources which helped to cover thousands of dollars in copays for oral treatment. After 12 weeks of therapy my father-in-law has been tested, and the virus is already undetectable. Life is good, thanks to the Hep C Alliance!
I am a RN at a local public health agency and I am grateful to the Hepatitis C Alliance program. We are able to offer Hep C testing to clients with risk factors at no charge. This is a much needed service and those of us involved with this program cannot adequately express our gratitude to the Hepatitis C Alliance program. Our clients are very appreciative of the testing as well as the counseling and education that we provide to those that test positive. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I, and 2 of my student nurses helped draw blood at a health fair sponsored by Hep C Alliance. It was well organized and well attended. In fact it was attended by more than expected I think and they handled it very well. Great thing for the community and of course a good thing for my students.
This organization has knowledgeable and infected and those who have and have been cured of this virus.
I was diagnosed with hepatitis c in 2012, during a hectic time in my life. I didn't know how I contracted the disease, what to do about it or how I was going to pay for it. Research told me that treatment would be upwards of 60,000 dollars. I put off further testing, then finally went to SLU to sign up for a drug trial. I was told that I had to be genotype tested, and that this was to be paid for out of pocket. The trial coordinator gave me the number for the HepC Alliance. I called and Bruce called back immediately. He was very reassuring and they were able to cover over 60 percent of the cost. I had the test done and nervously waited. Several weeks later, Bruce called and asked if I had ever undergone treatment- I said no, and he told me that I was one of the rare lucky few who managed to clear it naturally. He told me congratulations and sent me a letter which explained everything in more detail. Since the genotype test was no longer neccessary, I also got a check back for the full amount of the second test. I will always be grateful to this kind man and to this organization for helping me through a very tough time. I cannot thank them enough.
