Programs: After-school program - the hempstead boys and girls club has over 279 registered youth members in programs located in three site locations: franklin elementary schools, fulton elementary schools and teen center. The club provides diversified activities that meet the interests of all young people, offering programs such as: sports, fitness, recreation, arts, character and leadership development.
safe routes to schools day camp - the goal of this program is to introduce the concepts of pedestrian safety, conflict resolution and healthy habits to students within the village.
