Mission: H. O. P. E. Provides a one stop safety net support services to abandoned/abused women, children from disadvantaged families, and associated low-income families in orange county with three programs: basic needs, helping women succeed, and the m&m youth mentor program.
Programs: The one stop safety net program is implemented in a model aimed at providing food and basic needs aligned with care coordination to address the individual circumstances of each woman, child or family that enters the doors of h. O. P. E. In this way, the food distribution is supplemented by case management (added in 2017) to determine which solutions will best meet the participants needs. H. O. P. E. S families come from throughout orange county and are 100% low income based on hud standards. In 2017, h. O. P. E. Implemented an internship program with cal state fullerton. Through this program, additional services and resources are now available to all one stop safety net families. Our food sourcing/food rescue partnership with second harvest food bank coupled with the donation of a van, has tripled our capacity to feed insecure orange county families.
