Mission: Hhpc provided practical pregnancy related help to women, men and babies (with counseling, tests, parenting skills development, baby care, baby supplies & clothing) and provided abstinence education to students in area schools. The positive alternatives grant provided education to unmarried parents on the benefits of a healthy family, father involvement in the child's life, and good marriages; making good decisions; proper use of baby seats in vehicles; positive options counseling for alternatives available during pregnancy, such as adoption and parenting; and taught spanish childbirth classes. All of the services are provided in a christian setting with evangelism provided to receptive clients during non-pa grant services.
