Causes: Counseling, Mental Health
Mission: Helping Hand Community Counseling is committed to promoting mental health as a critical part of overall wellness. We advocate for prevention services for all, early identification and intervention for those at risk, integrated services, care and treatment for those who need them, and recovery as the goal. Every $25 donation made to HHCC supports 1 hour of free mental health services to an individual, family, or child who otherwise would not be able to receive help. HHCC is 100% volunteer based. Typical clients have 6 free counseling sessions; establish 3 treatment plan goals, and attend weekly sessions.
Results: HHCC has provided over 12,000 hours of free crisis counseling to our community and the need is growing. That equals over 1.2 million dollars worth of services. Completion rate of 82%!
