I have been a member of Hellenion for over a decade now and am proud to belong this group. In addition to support for those of us who are dedicated to the Gods of ancient Greece, there are numerous discussion fora, a basic Adult Education class for those who want to learn more, various classes offered on a variety of topics such as how to sing a hymn in ancient Greek, a library, flyers and promotional materials available for Pagan Pride and other events, lots of wonderful information about both the ancient religion and ways to worship in the modern world and (most excitingly) a rigorous clergy education program for those who wish to become legally ordained clergy in our religion.
They know quite a bit about Hellenic Paganism, but you can get that off their website. You *could* join, but I was a member for about 10 years and I saw a good number of people come in full of enthusiasm and end up leaving before too long, never to be seen or heard from again. Meanwhile, the congealed clique that runs the organization abides--mostly it's some people from Maryland plus one woman from New Mexico and one woman from Canada--and you're not in that crowd and almost certainly never will be. They're good at posing about concern for their fellow human being, and I thought they were my friends, but then they showed their appreciation and their gratitude for everything I did for them and their true colors by exploiting this poor disturbed woman to fabricate an excuse to force me out when I became homeless. The raw deals I and others got from them they can just as easily give to someone else, even you. You can make your own decisions about joining, but now I wouldn't touch them with a ten-foot pole or lift a finger for them.
I joined about a year ago because I wanted to support the work they were doing. They have been very open to membership and I am so glad to be a part of their movement. If you're interested in Ancient Greek Religion, this is a fabulous group!
