Mission: The helen bumpus gallery was founded in 1968 with a gift from helen mcburnie bumpus. The mission of the gallery is to organize a number of exhibitions throughout the year for local artists to exhibit and sell their work, to support young artists through periodic exhibitions and scholarship program and to provide collaborative endeavors amoung other art associations and museums in the local arts community.
