I started my journey with Heirborn in March of this year. I have tremendous respect for this organization and the impact they have on the women and children they help. They kept me in the loop throughout the entire application process and all the way up to the date of my gifting. I've recently had some unforseen repairs come up on my gifted vehicle and Sami got back to me immediately to discuss this matter and they are helping me get it taken care of. I can't say enough great things about Heirborn Servants and everyone working there. They put their hearts into the work they do and it shows.

Heirborn Servants provides such a critical service in solving the transportation issue for clients served by non-profits in Atlanta. Their ability to measure results and break down barriers to access to services and healthcare is superior.
We are a ministry to survivors of human trafficking. Although we have not been a client of HS, Barbara has been very proactive to communicate with us and share with us how to discern who makes a good client for H.S. and how we might assist the applicant with the application process. Barbara has also worked to create a healthy working relationship with our staff, which is very appreciated by all of our staff.

I first learned of Heriborn Servants when they reached out to the auto repair shop that I own to ask us to assist with repairing a car they were giving away to a single mother in need. After working with Heriborn Servants on that car giveaway, seeing all of the amazing work they do, and seeing the many, many nonprofit organizations in the greater Atlanta area that they assist, I knew I wanted to get more involved with the organization. My background is working in the nonprofit industry, so when I learned of how many lives Heirborn Servants has touched in just a short amount of time, it really spoke to me. My husband and I became donors for the organization in 2022 and we now serve on the nonprofit's board. We have been involved in numerous vehicle giveaways to single mothers in need so that they can get to work, take their children to school, attend classes, etc. Heirborn Servant's Give Rides program is much needed in our area, as the suburbs of Atlanta are not walkable and very few, if any, other nonprofits in the area are assisting with the major transportation roadblock that so many people in need face today. Give Rides allows women that have been in domestic violence situations, have recovered from drug addiction, or who have struggled with homelessness the ability to get to where they need to go in order to get their life back on track.
I get to celebrate & support women in difficult situations & be a prayer warrior & encourager for them. The secret/not-so-secret part, is the absolute kingdom joy I get to experience when I celebrate their successes. I also have the honor of sharing their worries & heartbreak, which only deepens my awareness of how courageous & strong we can be together. We just need each other, and we need more people to know that everyone can lift someone else up, no matter who you are or where you are in life. Just take 1 little step, don't hesitate...you'll wish you started earlier.
I’ve know of Heirborn Servants for several years and recently got involved in a practical and tactical way. I’m inspired by the heart and soul of the organization and the way the empower the women they help.
As a recovering addict and trauma survivor I was not the position to have a downpayment or income for monthly payments for a quality vehicle. Heirborn Servants not only blessed me with a car but also continues to reach out to make sure I am well. Having reliable transportation has enriched my life immensely. Thank you for all that you do!
As a young single mom heir born servants really helped me by giving me hope to keep fighting financially I was stressed and worried about work and a vehicle and they made the process easy and make sure they give you a reliable car. It doesn’t stop there even after you get the car they follow up and make sure everything is good ! I did end up having engine issues and they stepped in and paid majority of the cost to replace my engine I’m beyond thankful and blessed to have the help they have given to me to help not only me but my daughter and I can’t thank them enough !!
I am not the ideal target client for this organization, but it did not keep them from extending themselves to let me know how they could help me, an experience that set them Head and Shoulders above others I have dealt with! I am an older woman and while I raised my children without always having support, that's been many years ago. However, I found myself in a quandary; having recently started over at the ripe old age of 59 by completing a residential recovery program ,I became acquainted with Heirborn through others they had served among my peers. When I reached out for help they found a way to help even me! I continue to be involved as a member of their support team that undergirds their generous gift to single mothers and am grateful for the opportunity to continue my own rebuild through this. I love these guys and love being involved!
This company has an incredible mission/ purpose it's hard to put in a few words but I will try! They help single mother's obtain reliable transportation. Whether it is from a ride share or a gifted personal vehicle they are doing what they can to support women with children. But if you think it ends there you are WRONG, their Client Success Advocate Barbara Parker and the team provide supportive services that go far beyond that of transportation. The connections they have within the community and the resources they have access to are without parallel. Partnering with Heirborn Servants has been a wonderful experience. I have met so many wonderful mothers that have overcome many trials and tribulations, that were gift recipients of a Gives Ride car. Heirborn Servants is amazing. They helped me get me a reliable way of transportation. I was gifted a vehicle though their support. It gave me a safe and reliable way to get back and forth to work and a way to transport my son back and forth to Dr. appointments, events and church. They are an amazing group of people ❤️.

When I first met Jon Lewis, Executive Director for Heirborn Servants, I knew I found someone that absolutely cares about the people he is impacting through his non-profit. I could not be more proud to personally and professionally support a cause that has real and immediate impact on people that have had some of the most difficult experiences in life. God Bless Jon and his team for what they do to help people. This is a non-profit for all of humanity regardless of anything - race, age, politics or anything.

Having reliable transportation was one of the biggest obstacles I faced since changing my life. Before I was referred to Heirborn Servants, I was driving an old van with no reverse or heat that just sucked up money at every turn. Because of their generosity I now have a beautiful, reliable car that aids me in the work that I do I am an peer recovery coach assisting people who are in or seeking long term recovery from addiction. This car allows me to help my peers go to support groups, doctors appointments, and other things they might need rides to. This car also allows me to be more present in my children’s lives. Both my girls are active in sports and now I don’t have to miss practices or games because my car is broke down. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done for me you’ll never know how much your generosity has changed my life.
