I have been working with Heels on the Move to Heal for the past few months on PR and social media ahead of its third annual charity shoe fashion show, which took place virtually this year. Not only has it been an incredibly rewarding experience for me to be involved with a charity that does such great work, but founder Kia Davis is one of the most passionate people I have ever met. You can tell in speaking with her how much this charity means to her and how important it was to not allow the pandemic to stop the charity event from taking place this year. Every contribution, big or small and in any form, is truly appreciated by Ms. Davis, and she is not shy in letting you know how much she genuinely appreciates it. Because of her openness to new ideas and different perspectives, she is able to be innovative in her approach of putting together as impactful a charity show as possible, and I am certain that once the pandemic is over that she will be able to make this signature event even bigger and expand its reach in the mission of serving North Texas survivors of sexual abuse and domestic assault. With her ambition and vision, I truly believe that this charity will continue to grow in what it is able to accomplish, and I am so proud to be a part of its story.

Heels on the Move to Heal is a fantastic charity! This charity is set up to help survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. This charity is special because it was created by a survivor who has a big heart. This charity Is designed to provide shoes to survivors to help them get essential items and a sense of normalcy. Charities like this are wonderful because they want survivors who are going through a hard time is knowing someone cares. Sometimes, the most important thing for a Survivor is knowing that somebody cares; I have been honored to be part of this project.
