HEAVENS HARVEST FOOD PANTRY IS EXTREMELY HELPFUL IN OUR COMMUNITY. THEY NOT ONLY PROVIDE FOOD FOR THE NEEDY BUT HELP PEOPLE WHO ARE HOMELESS GET SHELTER AND JOBS, THEY HELP PEOPLE IN DANGER OF HAVING POWER TURNED OFF OR BEING EVICTED. THEY HALP CHILDREN IN NEED GET SCHOOL CLOTHES AND SUPPLYS. THE ALSO HELP GET FORMULA AND DIAPERS FOR BABYS. THEY ARE EXTREMELY HELPFUL WITH THE ELDERLY, SICK AND SHUTINS AND BRINGING THE WORD OF GOD TO ALL THREW THERE GIVING. THEY GIVE OF THERE TIME FREELY WITH NO THOUGHT OF PAY, JUST THE JOYS OF HELPING OTHERS AND DOING GODS WORK.

When someone is hungry you can just reach out, and the next thing you know a belly is full. The love, and care for others is really strong here.

I am an addict in recovery, January I will have 6 years clean. At my lowest, those at Heavens Harvest never judged, they provided services that helped me until I could help myself. I am forever grateful for them, and try to give back as much as I can. They are truly selfless servants!
I some times work to help other . iWork with the seniors citizens. With meals . what the heavens harvest food help to give exert food for them . helps in so many ways ; and they are thankful to get it or anything . this is truly a blessing for a lot of people ; other wise they would do with out . A big thank to people that helps to supply food ; there is a mush need for this . the homeless : out work : low income and so mush more .
Heaven's Harvest Food Pantry is a wonderful thing to have in our area, not only have they helped me when needed but they have helped lots and lots of families. Great, friendly workers. I highly recommend them to anyone who may be in need. They will try their best to help in anyway possible...A true blessing in our area
Heavens Harvest has been a great community partner to assist with food insecurity in Floyd County. This group has been a blessing both before and during the pandemic. I am so thankful we have this group available in our community to help those in need !
I have worked with Heaven's Harvest on several occasions. They have NEVER failed to help everyone I have contacted them about. They are a true blessing to this community, and eastern Kentucky is a better place because of them!!
Our family unfortunately suffered with COVID19 in our home. I was sick with symptoms and my daughter was asymptomatic. The food pantry helped us with open arms. They provided groceries for us and delivered them to our porch since we were unable to get out of the house for 14 days. They also provided my daughter school supplies to help her get started with virtual learning as school started during this time. We are so grateful for the help and support from them during our time of need.
A organization that always rises up to help those In need without judgement. Happy to have been served by this wonderful organization and it’s plentiful help.

They help everyone even if they dont have much. They are very good at helping have went many of times just said I don't go hungry and they have help provide meals for a family of about 8 people
The heaven's Harvest Food Pantry is really helpful. The team they have put together is so nice and very helpful with anything that is needed from the community. They supply food and help with other areas that our community needs help with as well. I am very thankful for them because if it wasnt for them helping me out from time to time I don't know how me and my family would have made it these last couple of months.
Heaven’s Harvest feeds so many people in our communities. They go above and beyond to make sure that no one goes hungry. No matter what time you call, someone will make sure that you are taken care of. Great organization.
I myself was helped in a time of need. if it had not been for them after my husband passed away I could not have made it through a time when I had no income and they helped me.
Heaven's Harvest Pantry has been a blessing for the area in providing food and other assistance. The volunteers work tirelessly to purchase, prepare for distribution, and deliver food items to families. Renee and the other community volunteers also lead donation drives for back to school clothing and supplies, assistance with utility payments, furniture, diapers and formula. Without the Pantry's assistance, many families would be without food, shelter and other basic needs.
What a major impact that Heavens Harvest has on our community ..... from serving over 300 per month with food and supplies to helping them find assistance with utility bills .... Ms Thornsberry does all of this and so much more for our community she is an amazing and caring person as well ...
I live in New York City and try to give to a few nonprofit organizations every year. This year I have donated to heavens harvest food pantry. Really love with this organization does for the small community that it serves. A lot of the people in this community don’t have much in the food pantry provides for these families in need. Not only are they giving food for the food pantry but also offers other services as they can afford paying electric gas and heating bills. Fixing cars so families can have transportation to get to and from where they need to be. As well as providing housing for homeless. They also provide bookbags clothes and school supplies for numerous children in the community so that they start their school year off with the things that they. I can’t stress enough for the wonderful organization is this for this small community and Kentucky.
I have volunteered at Heavens Harvest Pantry for approx 5 yrs. it has been such a blessing to help with this pantry. There is such a need in our area for this service . It’s such a joy to see the faces of the children and people in need of this food and other services we are able to provide with the generous donation we receive. I thank God for bringing me to help at this pantry

Heaven’s Harvest Food Pantry serves over 100 families each month on service days, but my aunt and Director, Renee Thornsberry works daily to assist all of those in need. I have had the opportunity to volunteer on service days as well as make Christmas Baskets for families to see firsthand the impact the organization has on the families in the community. Please consider donating to this local nonprofit that has such a tremendous impact on the families in our community.
Heaven’s Harvest is an organization that is used and appreciated in our community. The administration is in touch with the needs of every family in need. She works tirelessly to insure that families have food on their tables, clothing, beds, vehicle repairs, jobs, and rides for those who do work. I have no doubt that the volunteers work toward improving the quality of life
In our little town. As a donar I have witnessed the love and guidance provided to the children during Back to School Programs, Thanksgiving Dinner, and Christmas Dinner Program.
