I have always felt in my heart that I am called to be a missionary, and have always had a passion for helping others and sharing God's love with those who are hurting. I am young, newly married and a new parent - as well as just recently graduated from college and beginning my professional career - so dropping everything and running to the mission field isn't exactly what God has for me, just yet. So for me, donating my earnings and volunteering my time are how I "work the mission field." Finding a church that is mission centered is difficult, and many seemingly harmless "nonprofits" nowadays are simply the cunning guise of a much bigger organization, company, etc. So when I found Heaven's Family I was overjoyed to learn that within this meek and modest ministry lies a roaring lion's heart, eager to help the "least of these" and share with them God's word! Integrity, honesty, sound doctrine and the Holy Spirit are the pillars this nonprofit stands on.
But what I love most about Heaven's Family is that they don't shy away from helping people due to their current spiritual state or worldly status. Because for them, the end goal is neither fame nor fortune, it is simply winning souls for Christ. You don't have to be a missionary in the bush of Africa to show love to the "least of these"...you must simply give, wanting nothing in return...Heaven's Family can be that catalyst for you.

Heaven's Family does God's work, helping spread His word in places where it is squelched and has numerous ministries to help the 'least of the these'. One can see they are led by the Spirit and prayer in service to so many --- orphans, refugees, the persecuted, abused, widowed, imprisoned, battling addiction and many more.
In these efforts there is always the attempt to build up, empower and equip those being helped so they can become independent (such as vocational training, micro-loans to
help build a fish pond or farm livestock or produce raising capacity.
Reports from the directors of each ministry are frequent and the project updates on the aforementioned special needs projects bring joy to see what a little help from donors can bear in fruit! These often have pictures or videos of the members of our family in the Church who were assisted.
Helping this work in any small way possible spreads His love and care around the globe, and the way Heaven' Family is administered and ministered, gives me confidence that the donations are used in a wise and godly fashion
I've donated to and volunteered for many ministries and non-profits in my life, and none compares with Heaven's Family, which I've been involved with for about 4 years. I see how the money is spent - 100% of what you donate really does go to the fund of your choice - and the stories they bring back from their travels are remarkable. The people who work there are totally focused on their mission, completely transparent about their finances, and extremely committed to serving "the least of these." it is an honor and a privilege to be connected with them.
