Such a great group and always looking to help out the community where it is needed. Love seeing the dogs up on the hill
As a member of the ski patrollers at Heavenly Mountain, I've had the privilege of witnessing the amazing work of the Heavenly Patrol Fund. I've seen many individuals receive the support they needed, all thanks to the generosity of donors/supporters and the dedication of our patrollers on the fund. From covering medical expenses to providing educational scholarships this fund has touched the lives of many. I'm immensely proud to call these beautiful people my family.
The Heavenly Ski Patrol Fund has been a generous donor and fundraiser for the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe. They have even hosted events on our behalf and have helped raise thousands of dollars in much needed funds because of their well-deserved support in our small community. Their endowments to our humane society continue to help integral services for local pets and their people such as discounted community spay and neuter, free vaccine and microchip clinics, pet food assistance, and many more of our programs designed to help keep pets in homes. We are so appreciative of everything HSPF has done for our organization and are very fortunate to have them as a partner in our animal-loving community!
I have been lucky enough to be invited to provide music with my band for some of the ski patrol and rescue doggie events. Always lovely people and animals and they provide an essential service to our skiing community up here in South Lake/Stateline. Love them and will always support them.
Where would we be w/out our Heavenly Ski Patrol? The unsung heroes of the mountain... I ski almost every day and I was also lucky enough to get to play with my band for one of these fundraisers. Thank you my ski patrol friends you guys and dogs are amazing.
I’m a member of the Heavenly Ski Patrol and sadly I tore my ACL at work this year. The Patrol Fund was able to make a donation to me that is going such a long way in alleviating medical bills/lost time from work, but also just goes to show that I have so much support from my team and my community. I love knowing that our dog shirts are spreading joy while the funds from them are doing great things to support our community and our patrollers.
As a member of the Heavenly Professional Ski Patrol I am also a proud member of the Heavenly Patrol Fund. Zephyr is my Avalanche Rescue dog at Heavenly and was diagnosed with cancer in April 2023. Zephyr was admitted to UC Davis animal emergency hospital from the referral of my local vet and then transferred to their oncology department after 3 nights in the hospital.
The bills quickly added up and while Zephyr had insurance I knew that continuing his chemotherapy treatments we would maximize our insurance plan very soon. The Heavenly Patrol Fund provided me the financial backing to be able to continue Zephyr's chemotherapy treatments and I am proud to announce that he is in remission! I cannot thank the Heavenly Patrol Fund enough for helping me provide the best possible treatment for my dog!
As a first year board member, this experience has brought me so much knowledge and enjoyment being apart of the Heavenly Patrol Fund. Having the opportunity to support and help the community allows personal growth as well as with the town and organization. It has introduced me to a number of different groups, building connections and friendships I lacked prior. I looked forward to what the Fund does in the future and am grateful for the opportunity I have serving on the Board.
This group has given so much back to the community. From donating to the Tahoe rim trail association, Live Violence Free, to buying and building adaptive bicycles to kids in need! Keep up the great work!
I got to meet a couple of the pups at a fundraising event at Azul Latin Kitchen! They had a raffle and their cool shirts and pint glasses for sale with all profits going to the local boys and girls club! I will definitely continue to support this group
My cousin has gotten to take part in some of the patrol fund’s events for adaptive needs kids in the Tahoe community. It was so amazing to get to see him get to ice skate with some of the patrollers! This group is doing great things for our community!
I donate to the Heavenly Ski Patrol Fund every season! This group not only helps the avalanche dogs but supports the local community as well. Not to mention they sell some really cute shirts too
These dogs are heaven sent. They made my whole trip seeing them run down the mountain. They look like they are in the best care!!!!
