Mission: Heartline ministries mission is to stregthen haitian families and prevent children from becoming orphans through programs that empower haitians with maternal and infant health care, education, vocational training, economic development and christian outreach.
Programs: The women's program includes a maternity center and a women's education center. These programs were started to respectively address the root causes of child orphanhood - maternal death associated with pregnancy, labor, or delivery, and extreme material poverty. By empowering women to parent and financially provide for their children, these programs have significantly reduced the number of children relinquished to orphanages.
the discipleship & community outreach programs include an on site bakery and outreach and men's discipleship team. These programs were created to minister to prisoners, orphanages, children with disabilities, children living in extreme material poverty, and elderly haitians. The bakery provides jobs and vocational training to previously unemployed men.
the poverty programs include all the organization's general efforts to combat poverty in haiti. They include direct individual and family assistance for health and education expenses.
