They help young or older mothers struggling with necessities for their child or children. They help with you with clothes, diapers, blankets, burp rags, brand new cribs still in the box. Mattresses included. Cant beat that. You just have to earn points for the items by showing up and doing the monthly homework and having a job or a savings account. You can really get quite a bit in one session with how many points you build by the end of the program. You just go once a month every month. You van also donate items aa well and get points. It helps out a whole bunch even you have a job you can still attend AND you also gets points for having a job. You just have to show proof with a pay stub. It is a wonderful program. I would recommend to anybody.

An amazing organization that provides resources for the community, services that promote substantial change. From sex education in our local schools to items for those who need assistance, this organization is something to be thankful for in our community.
The people that work there are great. The have different kinds of programs. Like the carseat program it helps you get a baby carseat. They also have a crib program to help you get a crib. Other programs as well.
I starting serving on the board of Heartbeat of Hardin County about a year ago. Before that, I thought I knew what Heartbeat was all about, I mean I knew the main idea, but I truly had no clue what all Heartbeat had to offer!
Over the last year, I have learned so much about this amazing organization, and I’m so glad to have had the opportunity to play a part in it.
Offering free supplies to expecting parents is really just the icing on the cake of what Heartbeat of Hardin Co does. By offering informational classes on how to care for both the physical and mental/emotional needs of their babies/children, as well as self care for the parents, Heartbeat is assisting in developing strong, functional families. The positive atmosphere of their classes creates a support group for parents to connect with other parents, and develop a network of families working together to raise healthy kids.
The director of Heartbeat, Julie Zarring, spends most of her time in the local schools educating our adolescents about sexual education, abstinence, healthy relationships, human trafficking awareness, online safety, self esteem building, and so much more! Our youth today grow up in a much more dangerous world than any generation before them, so Heartbeat works very hard to sew into them the life skills and information they need to make good life decisions in a world that’s full of blurred lines between right and wrong.
Heartbeat is a huge asset to Hardin county! Suppling the support and information so many need to develop and maintain happy, healthy families is helping to create a stronger and better balanced community, one family at a time.
