Programs: 55 north american teams involving 676 people traveled to honduras, nicarauga and costa rica to build homes, construct churches and provide resources to meet spiritual and material needs of the poor. Medical teams saw 4,246 patients, and others worked on 108 projects. Heart to honduras arranges projects, lodging and meals through corazon para honduras.
heart to honduras sets up sister churches creating partnerships between us and central american churches. 45 churches in honduras, nicaragua, and costa rica participate in this mutually beneficial relationship.
heart to honduras is equipping communities with sustainable models of work and development to provide clean water, secure housing, accessible medical care, a consistent food supply, adequate fair employment, as well as spiritual and educational opportunities. The largest project in 2014 brought clean water to the el sitio community of honduras.
