Causes: Arts & Culture, Historical Societies & Historic Preservation
Mission: Promote a beneficial development of economic, governmental, and business impacts of the history of railroads in the four state area. This is accomplished through display and preservation of railroad artifacts and providing train rides to area residents so that the history of rail passenger service may be explained and experienced.
Programs: Educational institutions and related activities: provided historical train rides (8 rides)
elementary and secondary education: school tours of the museum and restored depots to establish the historical significance of the railroads of southeast kansas (10 tours)
