Mission: Healthpro solutions, inc. , is a florida not-for-profit corporation, formed on june 1, 2011 for the charitable purpose to assist individuals, and the organizations that serve them, in promoting health and reducing the burden of chronic disease. Irs 501(c)3 tax exempt status was received august 8, 2011.
Programs: Healthpro solutions, inc. (dba healthpro) addresses two key areas that achieve its exempt purpose - capacity building and peer support: capacity building-healthpro will increase the quality and availability of health promotion/disease prevention services by assisting organizations who serve people affected by chronic disease. Capacity building services include, but are not limited to: training, program development, performance and outcome monitoring system design, and technical support. Services will be conducted by experienced professional volunteers and staff and provided to organizations both in south florida, and throughout the united states. Peer support-healthpro will assist people affected by chronic disease, especially communicable diseases such as chronic viral hepatitis, sexually transmitted infections, and human immunodeficiency virus (hiv). Services include, but are not limited to: peer-to-peer support, education, screening, and referrals. Services will be provided by trained lay and medical volunteers and staff, in person (in the south florida area), and by telephone, by electronic communications, and through the organization's internet website (nationally). Healthpro's 2013 achievements included: o continued to serve as technology and helpline partners for the support partnership national hepatitis c helpline; o created fully updated national hepatitis c physician and community referral resource data and geocoded maps for a national liver foundation; o designed, launched, and performed ongoing maintenance of a new website, e-newsletter, video and document repository for a nationally renowned liver disease specialist; o designed and launched three new health-related nonprofit organization websites with training and ongoing support; and o designed, built, data-conversion, and launched a new membership and donor management database for a cancer-supporting nonprofit organization in south florida.
