I taught a Rehab Tech program for seven years in Haiti for HVO. It is a wonderful program. At Hopital Albert Schweitzer we went from no regular physical therapy to two full time PTs and enough techs to staff the hospital, dispencaries and prosthetics lab. The program concentrates on teaching local people so they become independent in giving the needed care. I highly recommend not only donating to the program, but volunteering for it as it has programs all over the world.
