I was there for one week and I only can say that it was an extraordinary experience. The place where the clinic is located is magical, and the volunteers are amazing people.

I am fortunate to have been a part of Health & Help for over a year now as a financial analyst. It is truly inspiring to work alongside such a dedicated and compassionate team of professionals. Their unwavering commitment to the project and its values is truly admirable. I strongly believe that with people like them Health & Help has a great future ahead.

I worked as a Doctor in Nicaragua, was one of the most beautiful experiences I've ever had. The opportunity to share my knowledge to help those people where the access to be seen by a doctor is hard to get. The mission of this organization, is helpful and significant to others. Also, share a piece of time with people who wants the same as me is great and lovely.

Health & Help’s mission is one of the most noble and important causes that we can find these days when the world seems to be a really dark place. From the founders to the volunteers it’s easy to see the passion and commitment that they have for helping the vulnerable communities in Nicaragua and Guatemala that do not have easy access to medical services - something that should be a basic human right everywhere. This organization definitely deserves all the support and recognition they can get.

I have been a Volunteer at Health and Help since late 2023.

I found out about the organization through a job board and after speaking with a few of the team members I decided to put forth an application for a volunteer position. Currently I am volunteering to help gather information on funding as well as applying for grants.

The work this organization does is important as they provide medical services to communities in remote areas that would otherwise have no access to medical care. I cannot emphasize enough how crucial the work they do is. Whether they are providing emergency medical care or treating a preventable illness, they greatly increase the quality of the lives of those in these communities. Beyond the medical care they provide, they also provide health related education in a handful of areas, which can be just as valuable as the healthcare they provide.

The world they do is noble, and it makes me glad that such entities in the world exist.

Hello! I’m volunteer of Health&Help and based in Guatemala. I visited the clinic in February, 2024 and was inspired by dedication and impact the team made on local community’s development.

Health&Help build clinics and raise money to provide medical care for patients in Guatemala and Nicaragua, where it is difficult or impossible to get help. They do everything they can to ensure that people not die from curable diseases: provide medical care 24/7, educate basic diet and hygiene, control chronic diseases, supervise pregnancy and childbirth, support malnourished children etc.

I am a volunteer at Health and Help and every day I can see how the lives of patients in La Salvia improve, having free medical care and medicines in very remote places really has a positive impact. I've been a Health & Help volunteer for 1.5 years, and not only it's there for supporting women in Guatemala and Nicaragua, it's also by itself a great community lead by women. As much as Health & Help is influencing the lives of its patients, it's also helping its volunteers become better people by giving an opportunity to serve others.

Health & Help is an inspiration for many different reasons.
First, their mission is to help as many patients in a suburban area as possible, without any expectancy of making a profit. And through the years He&He has saved thousands of patients from curable diseases, who otherwise could not get the help they needed.
Another reason I loveHe&He is that it restores faith in humanity. Everyone on the team I volunteer with is super passionate about what they're doing.
Also, the team consists of true professionals, who have limited recourses, but always come up with extraordinary ways to make their ideas come to life.

I joined the Health & Help team almost 4 years ago as a volunteer at the HR department. I am inspired by the dedicated team around me. After a while, my commitment and enthusiasm led me to take on more responsibilities, and I eventually transitioned into the role of HR Director. This career journey not only reflects my personal growth but also underscores the supportive and empowering environment within the organisation. I volunteered with Health & Help in Momo Guatemala. It was really a great experience. I made a few lifelong friends, learned about medicine in a developing region, and was submerged in an amazing community of wonderful people. Highly recommend.

I have been volunteering at NPO Health & Help since March 2023. I assist in telling the world about what we do through social media.

I have long dreamed of volunteering for an NPO that helps people get medical care. Since I believe that such basic needs as food, water, medical care should be in every place on Earth. One day I saw a volunteer position from Health & Help. I followed the organisation's website and immediately knew that this is where I wanted to be. As I got to know our team and what they do, I was deeply impressed by how sincerely, with love and compassion, this team is carrying out its mission. I've been a coordinator at Health&Help for almost a year now. It's a warm organization with amazing goals and plans. It does good on a daily basis and stays true to itself always!

I’ve been volunteering in Health&Help for 8 months as a copywriter in the online team. And outside of learning a lot about social media management and copyrighting, which helped me enormously while applying for my current job, I was a part of a really big mission — to save lives of people who don’t have access to medicine. We had weekly calls with founders, heads of departments, and other volunteers, which made me always feel as a part of the team and taught me more and more about the problem that exists in the countries of Central America and people who live in this reality.

I have been volunteering at Health and Help as a grant writing in the online team almost for a year now. It is such a great organization with very enthusiastic and compassionate volunteers from all over the world. There are many opportunities within the team to try different roles and take different tasks. I have run my first fundraising campaigns and learned a lot about fundraising and NGO world. It’s been a great experience for me working there and seeing how Health & Help changing the lives of the people in remote communities they serve.

I learned about this NGO by watching a video on YouTube where the project's creation story was shared, and I was absolutely amazed that such projects can exist in our world. Right after watching the video, I visited the project's website and filled out a volunteer application. And now, for over three years, I've been part of this incredible team of volunteers, project staff, and donors who save lives every day.
