Mission: THE SPECIFIC GOAL IS TO PROVIDE HOUSING TO INDIVIDUALS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS, CO-OCCURRING DISORDERS, HIV/AIDS AND SENIORS.WE ARE COMMITTED TO MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN OUR COMMUNITY.OUR OVERALL GOALS ARE TO HELP OUR RESIDENTS MAKE A SUCCESSFUL TRANSITION BACK INTO THE COMMUNITY AS WELL AS PROVIDING THEM WITH LIFE SKILLS TRAINING.
WE PROVIDE MEALS, TRANSPORTATION,
AS WELL AS SOCIAL,RECREATIONAL,EDUCATIONAL, AND VOCATIONAL ACTIVITIES.

He has a passion for helping people recovering from addictions. Health and Wellness Essentials is very clean and a beautiful home, overlooking the ocean. I’ve volunteered and worked at many centers. The professionalism and development here is unmatched. I’ve learned a lot as an trainee counselor. James and Mike are excellent. Their passion for what they do inspired me to further my career in this field.
I heard of this nonprofit through a mental health professional which happened to be an old colleague of mine . Upon touring its facilities I found it to be highly professional, very well kept and run like a well oiled machine .the staff was very friendly and helpful, its residents were very comfortable, and well cared for I'd recommend health and wellness essentials of Hawaii without question

Coming in from living on the street I am so grateful to have a bed and a roof over my head. The staff (James John) are great guys that really care about all the residents and take the time to get to know us and they always make sure we have what we need. They make sure we are going to meetings and doing what we're supposed to and I think that is awesome cuz Im used to just doing whatever I want. This is place is a great start if you really want recovery. A+ in my book.
