I met this group at the Health Expo and they were so welcoming. Each member of the team took the time to explain events and upcoming fair to help me get involved in my health, well-being and community. Trying to make an impact and showing veterans, students and special interest groups are at the forfront of what they do,

Awesome presentation from Rhonda Hudson. Strategies to move forward with your health and wellness. We made a commitment to a contract for self care and wellness. We choose an accountability partner to assist in our commitments.
I plan to use this in the future to improve my future mental health & wellbeing.
I have thoroughly enjoyed getting so many helpful tools for my mental health toolbox. I have been ready to make some changes in my life concerning self care but just didn’t know how to do it. The seminar I attended gave me tangible steps to get started and have realistic outcomes. Thanks so much Health and Wellness Alliance!
As a volunteer at the Kidney Wellness and Health Expo in Arlington, Texas, on March 9, 2024, I had the privilege of being part of a truly impactful event. Working alongside Leader Rhonda Hudson, RN, and the Health and Wellness Alliance team, I witnessed firsthand their dedication to building community partnerships focusing on health literacy, promotion, and self-care practices to reduce disparities and enhance care coordination. This collaboration with the National Kidney Foundation and Tarrant County perfectly aligns with AHW's mission to improve community health outcomes through education and outreach efforts.
Being part of this annual event was an honor for me. It was a historic occasion where I had the opportunity to collaborate with healthcare professionals, policymakers, student and public health workers, service organizations, vendors, and individuals who shared their personal stories about the impact of kidney and associated diseases on their lives. The panel discussions were enlightening as I saw neighbors nodding in agreement while gaining valuable knowledge about kidney disease management.
I am excited about the Health and Wellness Alliance’s bright future ahead. Their involvement in local and national initiatives to transform health and wellness through technology, public health services, and healthcare education is truly inspiring. Thank you, AHW, for the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful event!

I am a retired nurse and I have seen the disparities in healthcare in the community as well as the hospital settings. I am honored to be part of an organization that is helping to bring attention and awareness of what is needed to combat this crisis through the training that is being offered to each member of the organization.
